The restaurant experience here was fantastic. The guidance in selection of items and the service with a smile by Mr Vijender Singh, was highly professional and made our 4 days stay here, very memorable. We wish Vijender all the best. Sarita, Steward also needs mention for her efficient service.

This is a very good high end hotel in Jaisalmer. Located next to Taj hotel, this hotel is spread in a large area with many rooms. The interior is very nice. Many walls and passages are having beautiful paintings. The staff is courteous and service is good. Food is also very good and many options in breakfast. There is a spa, a bar, a gym and many more amenities. Apart from a restaurant, there is an open sky lounge. A cultural program of local dance and music is organised each evening. One can view fort Jaisalmer and sunrise and sunset from its terrace. In all it is a very nice experience of stay.

Since the moment we arrived , felt so privileged, felt welcomed n cared for!The staff here really knows how to make guests feel special.All the staff (Ms Shalini, Harpreet, Komal Siddhu n Ms Love preet in particular ) at Reception rendered excellent services. |Food services were excellent with variety of items n menu suitable to all . Thanksto all Staff at restaurant (Head of te Food section, Mr Vikram, Mr Makhan in particular)deserve great appreciation.|To be frank great experience , so cooperative, polite, sweet staff at the Reception. Cleanliness n maintenance Superb!!.Really would love to visit again .

The hotel looks okay from the outside, and the rooms are just ordinary. However, there is a lot of dust, even inside the wardrobe. The air conditioner sometimes blows cold air, sometimes warm, and it constantly malfunctions. But the worst and most frustrating part is the musty smell from the air conditioner—it’s so strong that I couldn’t sleep at all. It felt like sleeping in a pile of damp, unwashed clothes. It was absolutely terrible.

Definitely not a 5 star, which the staff claims it to be. Lacked the service you expect, my wifi didnt work for a day, another day room key stopped working and i had to personally walk to the reception. A little expensive for the experience it has to offer It felt more like a business hotel, than a family hotel. Food was also hit and miss, breakfast was good, BTW, no elevators, it's written on website but not there.

Hotel Rang Mahal in Jaisalmer has an impressive heritage campus with golden walls, but the experience didn’t quite match the expectations. While the welcome was decent, the rooms, though decorated with heritage interiors, may not appeal to those who prefer modern designs. The restaurant staff showed strange behavior on a few occasions, and their lack of training in hospitality and cooking was evident. Given the overall infrastructure and service quality, the pricing feels unjustifiably high. For example: Single Papad costs 250 rupees, tea costs 350+ taxes, pizza/burger cost was 1000+taxes during the cultural programme in the garden in the evening.
