Jee Ri Haveli

The people who own and work at this hotel are lovely and provide impeccable service. The rooms are outdated but very clean. Additionally it's clear that this is a heritage building. The reading nook, balconies, the beautiful stained glass really create an immersive experience. Cannot recommend the people and service at this location enough.

Located in the heart of Jodhpur, this location has everything to offer to tourists.This is a family run business which operates at the hospitality level of most 5 star hotels. Himanshuji is one of the best hosts I have ever encountered. As soon as you check in, he will give you a brief introduction of the city and also provide you a good itinerary that should be followed. The rooms are really clean and well maintained. The furniture might seem outdated but it definitely has its charm. The rooftop gives you a flawless view of the Gulab Sagar and the Mehrangarh Fort. Waking up to this view is one of the highlights of my trip. Himanshuji is the ever-smiling polite host who gives out helpful suggestions for sightseeing and his interactions were always so sweet that everytime we exited the Haveli doors or passed the reception, we kept saying to ourselves "Damn, he is so sweet!". Whenever I visit Jodhpur, this place is where I will be staying at 100%.

Clean and spacious homestay - well reachable by autos - cheerful and caring hosts- good food available on request all the time- all major attractions within walking distance or short auto trips- great view of the fort from some of the rooms. Terrace eating area offers magnificient view of the fort Ps...entry to the property needs tall stairs to be climbed and then the same for the rooms...might be an issue for some..also all such homestays are located inside the city's older parts...so expect narrow gullies and crowd just like any other Indian cities/towns.

This hotel was very nice and quaint. The charm of it being in the old city overlooking the fort was really nice. Although we didn’t use it due to the hot weather, The balcony would’ve been nice for a drink or breakfast in the morning or watching the sunset with the many fruit bats outside. The window ledge in the room was nice to sit in and relax with the stained glass windows shining colours into the bedroom. The hotel owners are lovely people and give you a nice Indian welcome when you arrive and answer any queries you have. Despite the occasional power cut, which was inevitable, the air-conditioning was also good quality. Hotel is run by many people in the same family so it is nice to meet them throughout your stay. They also understand vegetarian and vegan diets and are okay with LGBT travellers. I would rate this hotel 4 stars.

This is the second time I have enjoyed staying at Jee Ri Haveli. Himanshu and his family were lovely hosts. The Haveli is outside of the old town but the views of the fort from the rooms and rooftop restaurant are spectacular. You are within easy walking distance of everything including the excellent Sardar Market. The rooms are comfortable but not many luxuries but this doesn't matter as the beds are comfortable and hot water in the shower!! The food in the restaurant is excellent as well accompanied by the aforementioned view - see photo . They can arrange cars etc for arrival and departure if needed. ||Himanshu took us on a wonderful walk through the old town - the blue city- and took us to visit the Jaswant Thada mausoleum and the superb Mehrangarh Fort. We really enjoyed this as he took us to places we never would have discovered on our own , we saw some wonderful murals and we ate the most delicious local sweets and found out the next day we made the local paper!||Highly recommended and I would very happily stay here again.

We stayed at the Jee Ri Haveli on our round trip through northern India. Our driver had difficulty finding the right winding alleyway in Joghpur, but a scooter quickly came rushing up and showed us the right way. And it was worth it. We were rewarded with a picturesque view of the blue city and the historic Meherangarh fortress from the roof terrace. The food was served to us quickly and we sat and enjoyed the view until after sunset.|The rooms in the small Havali are lovingly and individually furnished and offered everything we needed on our trip: Clean beds, a clean bathroom, air conditioning, kettle. We didn't even try out the TV.|The hotel is family-run, and requests and questions at reception are met as far as possible. |The location of the Havali makes it possible to explore the city on foot. |If we come back to the city, we will gladly stay at the Jee Ri Havali again.|Thank you very much!

This hotel is a fantastic choice to stay in Jaipur. We arrived with the plan to stay 2 nights. Nice rooms, very clean and tastefully decorated. The owners are very friendly and helpful, all staff is likewise friendly and engaged. View from the rooftop restaurant is fantastic - as is the food there. We ended up staying 5 nights and exploring Jodhpur from this place, that is close to the market (don't miss!) and the Fort. Definitely a hotel to recommend!
