Worst worst worst They harass guests and overcharge badly. There is no care for customers at all. The manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Please do not go to this place.

I booked Hotel O Kanchana Palace through OYO because I was traveling to Kota for my exam. My booking was from the morning, and my plan was to check out the same day at 11:00 PM, not the next day at 12:00 PM. My bus arrived early, so I reached the hotel around 8:30 AM. I politely explained to the hotel manager that I knew the official check-in time was 12:00 PM, but since I was leaving the same night, I requested early check-in. The manager demanded ₹400 extra for early check-in. I refused, and they allowed me to sit in the lobby. After waiting for about 2 hours, around 10:50 AM, the staff suddenly called me and asked why I hadn’t checked in yet. When I explained everything again, another staff member argued with me and claimed that entering the hotel already counts as check-in, which makes absolutely no sense. I argued with them for nearly 30 minutes. Finally, I contacted OYO customer support. After around 10 minutes of conversation, OYO approved complimentary early check-in. Even after that, the hotel staff refused to give me the room key and only handed it over at 12:00 PM, defeating the whole purpose. When I entered the room and went to freshen up, I found: ❌ No soap ❌ No shampoo ❌ No towel ❌ No hot water This was extremely frustrating, especially before an exam. The situation got worse when I tried to order food online. The hotel staff forbade outside food, saying it was hotel policy. When I asked if they had a kitchen, they said no, but offered to bring food from outside themselves. When I saw their menu, I was shocked: Dal – ₹300 Paneer – ₹500 Roti – ₹40 These prices are completely unreasonable, more expensive than many 5-star hotels, with no quality or service to justify it. Overall, this hotel has poor management, misleading policies, lack of basic amenities, and extremely bad customer handling. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, especially during an important exam trip. ❌ Not recommended at all.

Hotel kanchan residency, just remember this name for the best hotel in Kota. Stepping through the lobby, i was immediately struck by the beautiful and friendly reception area. Light, airy and very spacious...very welcoming atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They always greeting and smiling to us. The breakfasts were amazing. The location of the hotel is great. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the tourists who want to go to kota. Will be back to this place soon..!!!More

😊: Room was so small but clean so and I was alone so it was best for me.. 😢: They charge crazy amount of money on food and outside food is not allowed. Selling product more then MRP price..

I had a terrible stay at this hotel and strongly advise others to avoid it. What they advertise and what you actually get are completely different: • Outside the hotel, they mention ₹600 per room, but once you enter, it’s a complete scam – they overcharge and later ask for extra money during checkout. • Rooms are overheated, fan is too slow, and there is no air circulation. • No water heater provided despite asking multiple times. • Mosquitoes everywhere. • No drinking water only empty bottle is available outside • Worst part – the manager and staff have no sense of communication. If you ask a question or raise a concern, they just laugh and ignore you. This was honestly one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had in India. Highly unprofessional staff and cheating behavior. Do not trust the price board outside – it’s a trap. Avoid this hotel at all costs!
