PROS: Good breakfast staff. |CONS: No hot water in shower. |LOCATION: Few local cafes 10 minutes walk away. At night it was an area with mainly young men on motorbikes. ||REVIEW: |Stayed 29-Nov-2024 for 2 nights in suite room with breakfast. |2-windows on opposite sides of the room neither had views of any sort. One looked to an outside wall the other to inside the hotel.||Breakfast is on 4th floor rooftop with panoramic views. Pool also on 4th floor but water was cold in December. Breakfast staff were super helpful and polite. Fresh fruits, juice, Indian buffet breakfast and choice of eggs.||Cleaning is good, all toiletries replaced, extra towels delivered promptly. ||Negatives:|No safe in room despite notice in reception requesting valuables be left in safe!||Multiple power-cuts on one morning meant the lift was stuck, luckily we were not in it.|A large bathroom, however 2*bath towels only, no other towels or floor towel/mat. The wall-mounted toilet was a little high off the ground, the highest toilet I have ever sat on!| |Water in the shower was hot for 30 seconds only. Boiler switch left on for a few hours however it didn’t help. Reported problem to reception when we went out but still no hot shower for the entire 2 days (except for first 30 seconds, then wait 20 minutes).

Exceptional hospitality Ms.Monika provided a warm and professional welcome, making our stay memorable .The ambiance and cuisine were exceptional. The staff were extremely supportive, and particularly Mr. Saif, who served us with humility. Mr. Khasti and Ms. Pinky were courteous and their coordination in serving food was impressive. Overall, a wonderful experience.

This hotel is a bit outside to the pichola lake (4 km) but offers a great stay. The rooftop has a really nice view and has range of amenities like swimming pool, live music (over the weekend mostly). The rooms are quite spacious and clean however the service is a bit slow. Overall a good experience and it's recommended

I recently stayed at SHAHPURA BARLIYAS HOUSE  and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making check-in a breeze. The room was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. My room was equally impressive—spotless and well-appointed with a lovely view of the pool. The hotel’s location made it convenient to visit nearby attractions, yet it felt like a serene escape. The pool area was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. I enjoyed soaking up the sun while sipping on refreshing cocktails from the poolside bar. The staff was attentive and ensured that I had everything I needed. The location is ideal, situated close to city area, making it easy to explore the area. The hotel’s restaurant offered delicious meals, and the complimentary breakfast was a delightful way to start each day. What truly stood out was the attention to detail and the staff’s commitment to providing exceptional service. Every request was met with a smile, and they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. I highly recommend SHAHPURA BARLIYAS HOUSE for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. I can't wait to return!

This property is the flag bearer of over promising and under delivering. What could have been a great experience turned into nightmare for my family which had aged parents and kids. 1. Extremely rude staff 2. Not delivering on their promises in terms of booked rooms and amenities 3. Strong arming us into accepting their conditions until shown hard evidence and recordings. 4. Making everyone stand in the reception and not even offering water to the aged and the kids. 5. Rooms were in horrible condition with leaking roof. 6. The gala dinner for which they charged 3000/person was a shit show with horrible taste, variety and offerings for vegetarians. 7. The only positive was the owner intervention made them deliver part of the services promised but the damage was done.

Service is really very good, the staff is very sweet, helpful and kind. The quality of food is good too :) Pinky was extremely warm, welcoming and helpful Rajaram served us really well and Sonu kept checking on us in case we needed anything :)

We had checked in for 3 N and 4 days. We had an amazing experience and their sevices and cleanliness of the rooms are amazing. We checked in the same room that we booked from the online hotels booking app. Amazing location... All the main spots were close to this hotel. All the staff was so amazing and cooperative. Hope you come back again and will surely book this property again in future.
