Himavat’s Olive Branch

One of the worst hotel ,We have booked this hotel with MAP plan but what manager say we served food with limited .we told them we have paid for MAP but no response, don't go to this hotel

Stayed in on the 2nd week of Feb, 2024. We booked through Make my Holidays, Travel Triangle. The rooms were pathetic. We booked 3 balcony view rooms, but got only two. The owner said that they don't have three available. The bathroom had water issues. One of the bathroom flushes wasn't working, the owner asked to use bucket water. Unbelievable!! Pillows had stains. Walls had cracks. Bathroom trays were broken, even the tap. Bedsheets were not clean, it had dal stains. They changed them on request. The main issue being, the Water heating kettles don't work. Supposedly they don't have proper electric connection that can handle the load of the kettles. You need to ask them for hot water refill everytime. And then, if you are on the reception floor, the continuous Inverter beeping noise, the whole night. It was really irritating. Breakfast was okay. We usually went to MG Marg for Dinner. There is a steep climb if you walk to MG Marg from this hotel. It's almost a 15-20 min walk to MG Marg.

We were a group of 8 and our stay was perfectly managed by Mr Shubhranshu. From arranging food for our late check-ins to booking us cabs for our North Sikkim tour and local sight-seeing, was an amazing stay overall. Rooms too were cozy and comfortable. The view to the rooms were great.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown. I had a wonderful experience at the Olive Branch. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues! Took advantage of the walk to M.G mark which is at a walkable distance from here. The interiors here are luxury. The staff is of helpful nature since they provided us with more blankets because we were feeling cold. The manager Shubranshu is a very kind person and also explained us where we should go in sikkim and what we should see etc. The food was very tasty and was prepared in pure oil. They also provided sweets after every lunch or dinner which is a plus point over here. I had a great experience at this hotel and recommend you too to take this hotel at your next trip at Gangtok.

We recently had a trip to sikkim and were a group of 12 people. At this hotel room service is good but only issue the number of staff, only 2 people work here and so food arrangements were not made properly. i think they should recruit more staff so that everyone gets food on time and in sufficient quantity.

We had a very good experience in this hotel. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The food is also very good, the behavior of all the staffs are really good. Overall this is one of the best hotel I have ever stayed in.
