Muscatel Dzeemkhang - 400 Mts from MG Marg

This hotel is kinda a good place to stay in gangtok. Only thing is like it's kinda little far from MG road. If you got some vehicle then you won't face any issues reaching MG road. Hotel staffs were really helpful with good attitude. Only bad side is we faced water supply issue at night time when we were staying at this hotel in September 2024. But hotel staff tried their best to do something. My experience was really good while staying here. They have their own restaurant also with affordable prices of food and you can order food from your hotel room only. At last good place to stay only if you have some vehicle with you otherwise you'll have to walk alot whenever you want to go MG road.

Have to walk a lot to reach , poor service , ordered chiken soup and got veg option and had to pay for the chiken one . No electricity at night . Food took 1.5 hours to be delivered in the room. Not. A great option

I recently stayed at Muscatel Hotel Gangtok and had an extremely disappointing experience. The service was abysmal, and the hotel lacked basic amenities that one would expect. First and foremost, there was no lift available. This made it incredibly difficult to up with stairs on third floor , especially when you come after travel. To make matters worse, the air conditioning and fan were both non available in rooms. When we requested a pedestal fan, it was finally provided but stopped working in the middle of the night, leaving us in an uncomfortable and sweltering room. The room and washroom were infested with mosquitoes, making it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep or feel clean and comfortable in the space. Despite our complaints, no effective measures were taken to address this issue. Overall, the stay was a nightmare. I would not recommend to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable experience. It was truly one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had.

The rooms were clean and cozy, offering a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. Being close to MG Marg, the hotel's location was convenient for accessing the city center. One of the best hotel in Gangtok. Rooms are very spacious as you can see from my pictures with wooden flooring and amazing morning view of mountains. Room service was fast and hotel staff was very polite and helpful. Every night they come handover a jug of water and ask for our next morning breakfast. Quality and quantity of the meals also beyond the expectations. They also arrange cabs for sightseeing and airport drops

Our stay at Muscatel Dzeemkhang in Gangtok from 03-Dec-22 to 06-Dec-22, was truly delightful. From the moment we arrived, the receptionists, Dechan were polite and helpful, making us feel welcomed. The rooms were clean and cozy, offering a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. Being close to MG Marg, the hotel's location was convenient for accessing the city center. I appreciate Dechan, Dewas, Premsang, Anand and Samiran for their helping nature with guests. As this property is good but it would be more valuable if it have lift facility as for tourist its not easy to carry their luggage through stairs. That's why I am decreasing it from 5 Stars to 4 Stars, rest everything was good.
