This would have been a nice enough stay but we were misled. Price quoted at checkin included breakfast. At no point were we told breakfast price was extra. We were given no breakfast menu or breakfast bill to sign. We did not want breakfast the first day and staff did not seem to understand that. We never actually choose to pay extra for breakfast as we don’t eat it. Breakfast was not worth the money and we had to keep saying what we didn’t want. On checkout we were charged full price for breakfast for even the day we didn’t eat. The manager would not negotiate and insisted breakfast wasn’t included. Pedestal fan. Hot water really just dribble Luke warm water. Water provided was just in a refillable bottle with dirty lids. Could not get tv to work. No view. Lady staff member at dinner was very kind and friendly, suggesting the food to choose. I feel sorry for the staff under that management. I did not feel comfortable with the manager always watching us like a hawk always pressuring us to eat there. Had to rescan room keys every time we re entered hotel. In the end the manager did not offer any compensation for the breakfast issue, he kept walking away or talking on the phone, letting his poor staff just have to say the bill is already printed and they can’t do anything. I would not recommend this place as I don’t believe they are genuine to tourists. Took us for a ride. Any response to this would be too late as the manager had us before him with every chance to make it right, and he didn’t. Manager can have one star for the service and how he made us feel on departure.

Room was smile but ok.. there was a odd smell in the room and bathroom and only one small balcony door was there for ventilation. Services were also okay. Location wise if youre looking for a view then this is not the one. Although it is very close to the market (m g road). Walking distance of 5 minutes only. Food was good and fresh.

Hotel situated at prime location near Gangtok Mall Road and Room services was very good and breakfast quality and quantity is too yummy and good. All the staffs are so helpful to guide you for everything and also provide private taxi services to visit all the nearby locations and airports.

The only plus point is the location, very small and smaller bathroom,hard for one person to stand,they don't disclose prior that it is a pure Vegetarian Jain hotel, even if you request them to heat your left over non veg food they will deny.We paid for one extra cot the guy in the reception told us they don't have extra bed to provide. The complimentary breakfast menu is not good, majority time the buffet containers are empty guests have to wait for the food to come,food is not tasty.Soneone who is a Bengali talks like a Mafia to the guests .After they told they don't have extra cot and I demanded for it ,that Person most probably his name was Prasit Roy called me and told that it was my fault only to demand extra bed even after paying for it . Room is not recommended for 3 people as it is very small. I won't suggest anyone to go there.

Qsaina The cosmos is the best place to stay if you are visiting Gangtok. Food is awesome with so many different varieties… very neat and clean and the best part is it is just near to the MG marg…. The services are also the best.

It was nice stay, reception staff is good. They know how to treat guest. Food is okay okay, I think they need to change their chef, but restaurant staff is too good, they are very much supportive. PS: no proper ventilation in room, but overall hotel is good.

Dear Q Saina The Cosmos Hotel Management, ||We had a wonderful vacation at your hotel from the 7th and 8th night of December 2023. The hotel is elegant and clean, the interior decoration was so nice, and the washroom was perfect for us. We stayed in room number 501 and 502. ||In addition, your staff behaviour is well trained and was pleased to conversation with them, especially entire front office team. However, we had lunch at your Rooftop Restaurant whose view is so beautiful. ||So I will recommend Q Saina The Cosmos Hotel if any family wants to stay there. ||Regards, ||Md.
