FabExpress Laxmi Niwas - Hotel in Vishal Gaon, Gangtok

Worst experience ever. First of all, the Hotel Laxmi Niwas is very very far from Gangtok, no drivers wants to go to the location. One have to reserve the taxi and pay around 400-500 each time to and fro. Second, the rooms are too much small, pillows are hard like rock, bed mattress are worst. Third, room service is pathetic. I've told them to provide water, and after reminding third time after one hour I got. Fourth, the way to the hotel is off-road and it's actually a slum area, no drivers wants to go there. If anyone reading the comment, please save yourself from the sufferings.

I'm writing this review after spending 15 days in this hotel. Pros : 1. A peaceful place surrounded by hills. 2. Rooms are good as per budget. 3. Most importantly, the behaviour of all staff members(Anil ji, Tima ji, Nima ji, Mingma ji) were very good. They behave politely. 4. Anil ji (The cook) served good food as per our choice. 5. grocery store, medical store are available in this location. 6. local taxi stand is nearby, and they can also arrange taxi if needed. Cons: 1. The location is little bit far from main area, but local taxis are always available at minimal cost. 2. This hotel has 4 floors. So someone must climb many stairs if they get room at the top.

They are not providing dinner in room and send you to the top floor, my wife got slipped there and a serious injury 🤕 happens here she slipped to 6-7 stairs and they don't even care about us and didn't try to notice what happened but they have 24x7 working camera. No medicine, No first aid No food service. I don't know why am i here in this laxmi niwas.

The stay was very comfortable as I reached hotel after a tiring journey .first felt like it's quite far but after reaching the hotel felt very good and very homely stay.Staffs were really good.i totally recommend this hotel.

Far from main mg marg. There was a mosquito in our daal fry. In night so many insects were there. Owner is very humble and kind. Overall it was average experience.

Good rooms ,good service ,good price I mean reasonable prices.food is good too my favourite is chicken fried rice.location can be good for some people because it's not in rushy area .and u can easily get a shared taxi.so u can take this hotel

Very good hospitality and service in every way. Only drawback is that it's pretty far from the highway and the central places, hence traveling takes more money and time. Otherwise, it's really great in every way.

Nice hotel.support staff r very good.foods are excellent. Parking available on request. No lift. Staff helped me to carry luggage
