Owner Mr. Lakpa is a very good guy. He has managed all our bookings to Nathu la pass, Chsngu lake, Lachung and Gangtok visit with very good nominal rates. His arrangements are awesome. Hotel rooms are well cleaned with all basis amenities like water heater facility, Hot blower, wardrobes, dinning table, led tv. The best part is its on MG Mall Road and for shopping and food,its about 2 min walk from hotel. Mr. Devashish(Manager) is a very fantastic smiling guy and the way he attends the tourists is very charming and ready to help any time. I am very impressed the way he manages all the arrangements. This place is my to go place as I travel to gangtok at very short notice.. I generally stay fr 1 or 2 nights max and I m hardly in room . Though one of their room is good with a view of outside . Their room needs serious improvement n maintaince . There is no such interiors in the room it's just basic . Sometimes their blankets smell too . I like their helper debashish he is very prompt with his service and is always smiling and welcoming . He makes good tea as well. The owner Mr lapka is very good human being too and very helpful . If anyone needs his number to book the place please let me know .

The location of the hotel is excellent as it is approx 50 metres from MG Marg and city car stand which is a prime location at Gangtok and well connected with other parts of the city. Behavior of the hotel staff is polite and helpful. Our special thanks to Mr.Manik Debnanth, the Manager of the hotel who co-operated with us in each and every matter. WiFi is available. Hence this hotel is overall good in this price range. If you find hotel near to MG Marg please go for this hotel.

Average Hotel, only few rooms are Mountain View.Room heater is not available. Room Service is not so good.Room service starts from morning 8 A.M Which is very problematic to start any share tour from hotel because most of the tour starts from gangtok around 8.30 to 9 AM ,so its difficult get ready after getting morning tea/breakfast in this short period.Staffs are good and well behaved and another pros is rooms are spacious. I got room no 301 which is best room of the hotel ,room no 302 is also mountain view.Try to avoid room no 203/204 and any rooms of ground floor.Last but not the least hotel is just 3mins walking Distance from MG Marg.

Self and wife stayed for 4 Nights in deluxe room. Good location, good service. The owner shared the important places to be visited. Hotel is very near to MG road and there is a taxi stand just outside it. There is cook available in house. 1 hour advance information is required for preparing the food. After check in at the ground floor room, I noticed fungus on the walls and asked the room to be changed. It was changed and we were on the 3rd floor. Beautiful hill views from the window. On two days,the clouds were flowing into the room. we visited during monsoon. Room was very spacious , neat and clean. There was no intercom and mobile phone is to be used to communicate with the reception / cook. Need to climb up the road to reach the hotel and also climb up to reach the living rooms on 3rd floor. However good physical exercise. Hotel can organise cabs for local tours. Owner , manager as well the cook were very good. We liked our stay and would recommend this hotel. Hotel owner to pay attention to clean up the fungus formation on the ground floor room, it could be uneasy for the guest with breathing issues.

Hotel Is near the m.g.marg market. All facilities available nearby hotel. There is a taxi stand just at the hotel exit. The manager of the hotel is a very good person. If u need any help you can ask him (Mr. Debashish). Infact he is a really polite and helpful person. He helped me in arranging for tour vehicles with out any hassle. Food at this hotel is better than what's available outside in the market. Just order it at the reception before hand, and at reasonable rates. Hotel interior is very good with all essential things needed. Great views from the hotel windows. I loved my stay at this place.

Visited mid June 2018 Pros: position very near to mg marg. just opposite childrens park taxi stand (pics attached). Need to access by a 4 dingy steps. They possibly have a good view of Kamchanjungha but i can not confirm. They have a homely kitchen and dining area. Cons: not all rooms sold under same price are the same. the first floor deluxe room we had was much smaller than expected, with damp roof, insect infested (pics attached), and with foul smell from the drain in front of the hotel. Though they have much better rooms. So check two three rooms before you check in, if possible.

If you are looking for a pocket friendly hotel near M G Marg, just go for it. Marg is just a stairway down. Hotel staffs Manik and Sneha are real courteous and helpful. Food is good. Manik helped me in all possible ways from booking the cars to planning my trip, he is a multitasker. Overall a good stay. In photo: Morning view of Kangchenjunga from the hotel lobby.
