OYO 3109 Kundau Residency

Sumi left the hotel, and it literally broke down. We just stayed in this hotel a few days ago, and service is just horrible. Honest feedback from my side Location wise not very good. It's far away from MG Marg, and taxi charges are around 300 min one way. Even from Chandmari taxi stand , it's way up and no shops are nearby, and feel like isolated Rooms are good, spacious ,clean and having all amenities. Though TV was not working and despite of informing manager Amit , he was least bothered to get that ready. Food is average.. Service is very very poor..In fact they are least bothered to provide service to customers.. I certainly not recommend to stay here..feedback provided earlier than 4 months does not justify current status..I've stayed this month only , a few days ago..

Beautiful, well maintained, working washrooms and facilities. Order food, it's very tasty. Relaxed ambience and amazing views from the balcony. Getting there might be a tad bit of a hassle for newbies but ask any local, they'll point to the hotel's direction. Enjoy your stay!

Good hotel has a good view from hour room 203. You can actually have the entire hill from your balcony. But the management has some flaws we have booked the hotel fro 6 night but they have mistakenly enter it for 5 night becoz 9f this miss management we have to checkout on the 6th day after noon. This is the disappointment i have. Do they provided us another room near by hoteo but compare to that room that is not enough. I hope authority must take care of this miss management in future so that that kind of miss understanding should not be created .

The manager, (her name is Sumana) was very friendly, helpful and assistive with our stay. Not only did we feel like hotel guests, we felt like a part of the family as we spent personal time getting to know the manager. Sumana spent personal time with myself and my wife in getting to know about our tour plans and assisted us with everything from booking cabs to getting us reduced rates and making sure we were looked after at all times. We were also welcomed with extra amenities and other staff members at the property were really professional and friendly. Unfortunately we had cut our stay short due to budgeting issues but felt very sad upon leaving as it felt like we were leaving behind a part of our journey that we really enjoyed and loved. We have made a friend for life. Sumana and her staff will definitely look after you and will go beyond to meet your needs. Our room was equipped with a beautiful view of Gangtok and the clouds that covered the mountains above. Price was definitely worth paying for and we will be coming back here in the next few months. For those who think it may be a little far from MG Marg and surrounding areas, yes, sure it may be - however you will never experience being at home away from home if you don’t reserve your stay here. Thanks to Sumana and the team for giving us foreigners the best homely experience we could ask for. Love from Eva and Kiron.

We 4 families were stayed in this hotel during our tour on 28.5.2018 and checkout on 30.5.2018 morning. We have got bad treatment from manager and staff. even after we paid full charge for full of meal for non veg and it was including our package and even chicken was available, deliberately they serve only egg, and told us if u want extra plate u must pay for that, even during break fast on first day manager told us we serve only one omlet among 14 people if u want extra u will be charge and she start quarrel and told us to ask our agent. we request to provide contact no. of owner of the hotel but she didn't. food quality is not good, service is not very good. At the tine of checking out they didn't serve break fast.

You would need a cab since it is located at a distance from MG Road. You may still make it to the market since it will down-hill but walking back to the hotel would be next to impossible. Rooms are 'fine' and not great. View from balcony is awesome since the hotel is located at a height from the city.

It's a beautiful hotel but located nearly 2-3 km away from the Mall. The rooms are great and the bathrooms are clean too. There is also a play area for the kids from where the whole Gangtok town can be seen. There is also a restaurant but you have to pre order your meal.

If you want to have a lovely vacation, THIS IS THE HOTEL. a little bit away from the hustle bustle of mg.marg's EXCESSIVE tourism, but having a quiet time with beautiful views here is the best thing you can ask for as this is the BEST HOTEL YET to have a time for relaxation. Though the food is kind of a let down but breakfast is awesome.
