I had a wonderful stay in Hotel Ginger. The staff were extremely polite, helpful, and always greeted with a smile. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and well-maintained with all the necessary amenities. The food was excellent with a good variety, and the service was quick. The location is perfect, peaceful yet easily accessible. Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant experience—I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay. I held a birthday party for my son in late October 2025. The owner, management, and staff were extremely helpful to make our event successful. They went above and beyond to make things convenient for us and I will forever be grateful to them, especially the property owners. The rates are a steal for all the facilities they provide and the hotel itself is best in town.

Rooms are spaces and hygienic |Location is 5 km away from MG road, |Food service is good especially by Asha, Paro and raja. North Indian Food taste is 3 star , needs more improvement. South Indian food taste is okay.

I have been returning to Ginger Hotel time and again during my visits to Gangtok, simply because, in my view, it is one of the finest hotels in the city. It consistently meets my high standards for cleanliness — spotless rooms, a tidy lobby, and a well-maintained restaurant. The availability of 24-hour hot water, along with a central air-conditioning system offering both heating and cooling options, is a real blessing, especially during the colder months. Add to this a vigilant 24-hour security system and peaceful rooms where you can enjoy an undisturbed night’s sleep, free from traffic noise — it all adds up to a highly comfortable stay. A big part of what makes this hotel stand out is the staff. While I’d like to mention a few names for their outstanding service, my appreciation extends equally to all the team members whose names I may have missed — the entire team deserves praise for their collective effort. Sunil and the housekeeping and maintenance staff go the extra mile to ensure rooms are immaculate and well-equipped. In the restaurant, Pritam, Paro, Supriya, Raja, Himal, Asha, and Ujjwal win guests over with their warmth, attentiveness, and prompt service. Chef Sanjib, with his readiness to personalize meals to suit individual tastes, truly elevates the dining experience. The front desk team — Arman, Ajay, Bhagwat, and Dikki — handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, regardless of the hour, and always with courtesy and professionalism. I also appreciate the security staff, who keep a constant watch over parked vehicles and are always alert. A special thanks to Mr. Chatterjee from the Sales team, who has consistently helped me secure bookings at short notice. He truly exemplifies what a great sales professional should be. Without hesitation, I strongly recommend Ginger Hotel for anyone planning a visit to Gangtok.

Its been a wonderful stay at Ginger Gangtok during Sikkim trip, food served was very nice. All staff is very polite, Thanks to Pritam, Raja, Ujjwal, Asha, Paro, Himal. Special thanks to Chef Sonjib, Asim, Gopal for special dish served at dinner. Definitely recommend to everyone.

Best Hotel in Gangtok for 3 night stay. Spacious, Clean and tidy rooms. The room was beautifully appointed, with a stunning view, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The view from our room was simply breathtaking. The breakfast buffet was a delight, with a wide variety of delicious options. Restaurant staff was attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!!!
