Sumitel Gangtok

Pretty good place to stay in Gangtok. The service was fine, the only concern was the heinous scent from the toilets (from both the restaurant and the rooms). Even though they looked clean, the smell was very bad. It even reeked into the restaurant area, making it uncomfortable to be seated near the toilet. The room would've been amazing if it wasn't for this smell issue, it had a great view as well. The food was also fine.

I dont know how the hotel management is recruiting staff and running it, staff at the hotel have no co-ordination at all. The bathroom at room no.101 was stinking so much and there was no ventilation at all. It's the same condition with the washroom at the restaurant too!!!!! We had spoke to both the reception and the restaurant to pack breakfast and hand it over to us, the next morning. But the security had handed over our packed breakfast to another group which left the hotel before us. Totally I wont suggest staying at sumitel. There are other better options for a better price

It was a nice experience. Very nice place to stay. Excellent service by the staff. Mr anoop in the room service was exceptionally well. It is centrally located. House keeping is good. No hiccups in check in and check out. Good spread in breakfast menu

It was good stay and we all had a great room witha view all the amenities were placed thanks to ashim and team for the great services and effort s we are happy to stay here and we will sure to visit again next time as well thanks to all the sumitel gangtok team

Good stay and overall a great services by the housekeeping team and front office staff . We all had a good stay and was a pleasant stay second time as we told them to change the rooms and it was done promptly. Thank you sumitel gangtok .............

I stayed in Sumitel Gangtok in The month of December. The hotels rooms were clean and tidy. The breakfast served to us was freshly prepared. The hotel staff cooperated us with the tourist vehicle and helped us in arranging passes to changu The only disappointment I had about the washroom where foul smell was coming although the washroom was clean it could be the drain smell but this is the only issue I had. The stay and amenities were good at hotel

Their location is incorrect on google maps. I booked through their official website. They called me 2 hrs before my checkin time and asked me to come to one of their hotels at the outskirts of gangtok city. When i denied and asked for a refund.. they said they will try to confirm my stay in one of their hotel within city limits, which they did.. but after 5 hrs. Till then obviously i checked in some other hotel. I asked for a refund but they are so idiotic.. that they are not even realising their fault. Pathetic hotel. Super pathetic customer support. Giving 1 star as 0 star was not an option.
