Hotal Oakridge

Pros: I was at this hotel on 27th & 28th May 2017. The size of room & bath is real plus. The newly laid kurlon mattress is generally not seen at this price point. Even the additional mattress was a kurlon one.The cleanliness of room is well appreciated. A timely booking can get someone a steal-deal.||||Cons: Distance from central Gangtok. for going to central Gangtok, be prepared to pay INR 20 per person or 80 for full taxi during 10-6 timings. Gangtok starts retiring for the day pretty early. So be prepared to shell out double the normal fair if you happen to be in central Gangtok beyond 7pm.||||Odd Experience: That day I had left room key with the reception and could reach hotel from central Gangtok around 10:-10:30 pm. Entire hotel staff was fast asleep. I tried to locate some hotel staff but none could be found. To my fortune the reception door was not locked. I pushed it open, went up to the reception desk and using my mobile phone torch located the room key. Though the hotel staff was very efficient in all other sense, this odd experience left me a little jittery.

Hotel is in the Main Road , with the entire Wooden Theme , you get a beautiful valley view from your room and the Rooms are much spacious , Owner and the Staff is very Cooperative , Assists you with the Smiling faces .| Thank you making our stay memorable. |Regards |

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. with very helpful stuff.. No complaints. and Food is avarage. People are very cooperative.I will recommend this place to people who wanna make their stay comfortable.its little bit far from MG Marg you have to pay around 20/- inr to get there...

Hotel rooms are clean. Restaurant renovation is in progress. Hotel staff is polite and helpful. Hotel is away from Market, but taxis are available. Manager Blessing and Owner's wife Lucky are helpful and talkative.

One of the best room i ever seen with a reasonable price. The room is comfortable and also the room is so spacious. The hotlier also provide a almirah, sofas,neat and clean bathroom with a lavishng furniture..

Was thr between 12thmay to 15 th may 016.The hotel is quite away from main mrk but u ll save a handsome amount by stying here as main mrkt hotel r costly.Hotel cook Anil really cooks verrrrry well...try Fried rice made by him.|Manager blessing is also very helpful..
