I stayed there. My stay was very comfortable. They attended to my request every time. The outside window view was just awesome. I want to thank hotel manager Shankar and Team for the great hospitality. The location is a bit far from MG marg but you can get shared taxi to MG marg. For other locations like vajra taxi stand or flower show stand for Nathula. You will have to take reserve taxi.

Hotel has 4 view-rooms on the first floor only and then a few other rooms on the first floor, and remaining rooms are in the basement. We did not get view-rooms but it was a big spacious room on the first-floor with premium toilet accessories, 24 hours hot water, clean beddings, water kettles with tea/coffee, in-house Kent water purifiers, and prompt on-call room services. The biggest drawback is that the hotel is on a one-way road. MG Marg is 1.5 km away but the road is very steep hill to walk. Hotel does not have a pick-up/drop facility or helps guests to call a driver to go MG Marg or any bus/taxi stands. It is just luck if you get any running taxi or else you will be stuck, especially during your need in the early and late hours. Hotel arranges only some package cabs at a very high rate compared to local taxi-stand drivers. Like other Gangtok hotels, they do not arrange any shared cab for Nathula-Changgu lake. On New Year (1st Jan) morning, there was a long power-cut and came to know that this hotel has a broken generator. We got fear to hear that sometimes power does not come for days as this hotel-area is prone to rockslides. We had to go sightseeing without bath and fortunately power was restored by the evening when we returned back, otherwise we would have face water crisis. Only veg food is available for dinner and for any other meals Swiggy/Zomato is the option. The food was okay, healthy, and reasonably priced. A tiny portion of the peak of Mt. Kangchenjunga is seen in the morning first-light from the corridors of the first floor.

Had a really lovely stay, staff was amazing, polite & really helpful. Specially Mr. Nikhil, they made us feel like home. Food was delicious , had a lot of options. Rooms were clean, bathrooms were nice, location is also nearby MG road. Would highly recommend this hotel.

I spent almost 4 days there the staff was very supportive and very good my experience was very good with this hotel and its also near to MG road so you can also go MG road by walking 10 to 15 min and the food was also very good and if you are finding any hotel with veg food only then u would highly recommend you to go here

Awesome in every way. Neat & Clean Room with hygienic bathroom. View from room is mesmerizing. Located at Upper Sichey Road near to Palzar Stadium. MG Marg walking distance, but share cab always available @ Rs 20. Service : 10/10...24 hrs hot Water, and very day cleaning by housekeeping.They have a Pure Vegetarian Restaurant with very tasty food and senic valley view. Above all very friendly and helpful staffs. Mr Sankar and his team are so lovable, they will make you feel just like being at home. I had been stayed for atleast 5 times at Crown De La, everytime I have same feelings for them. Keep it up Mr. Shankar. With lots of love from Joy.
