The Meru Hotel

Although location and hotel is nice service is worst we suffer from mosquito bits whole night, No one attend at hotel to solve the problem. Worst experience with whole night un sleeps. No AC or fan in room feels hot in the mid night. Take it as suggestion.

A complete value for money, great location . More important Mr Zong Z with his team are very helpful and polite and they make you feel important n special during the stay. That is very rare now a days. Best wishes to team ..

We spent two days at this hotel. There were eight people in our group. We received the greatest care available. The hotel's staff was excellent, and the owner was really kind. The rooms had free wifi, a constantly running geyser, and were tidy and clean. The hotel is about two minutes' drive from MG Marg. We appreciate Team Meru for making our trip to Gangtok unforgettable.We spent a month there, and it is, first and foremost, a decent hotel with decent accommodations. The manners and assistance are also excellent. The food that is prepared is of good quality and tastes good. Make the decision to stay at a reputable hotel close to M.G. Marg.

The Great Value Hotel The hotel is located around 2 -3 minutes walking distance from MG Market. We stayed in presidential suit room. From the window of this room you can view kanchanjagha , if atmosphere is clear. On the first day we stayed in this room , on second day we requested for balcony room and they have changed it. This room with balcony is smaller compare to presidential suit room but still sufficient for to stay for four person. Bathroom are spacious and hot water was available all time. Room service is good and staff is co operative. Mr. Zong who is main person here, found very co operative and attending phone at any time. We have booked car for local sight seeing and for pelling and upto darjelling drop through him . On our feedback about driving speed which was fast, Mr. Zong immediately attended it and resolved it with driver and our entire journey was comfortable. The hotel does not have lift and presidential suit room is on fourth floor so if you want good room you have to climb stair case which was ok for us. We have not taken food from hotel as there are lots of food option available around the Hotel. The car is going upto Hotel.

The five star is for the location and zong at the reception. Very helpful soft spoken. For any enquiry any help he was ready. In our 3 night stay in hotel zong guidance was so good and it really help us in the new place. Keep the good work. All the best guys.

The hotel is ok but the manager there is such an arrogant and rude person the manager name is Zong z This guy is such a arrogant and lier person tht i cant express it don't visit this hotel the manager is very much rude to its customers and moreover they promised us to provide the breakfast at 7 but no one was there to serve or cook the breakfast at promised time moreover this person is such a liar that ke refuses from his words when we told him thaat no one was there to serve us the breakfast he said no your breakfast was ready but as we showed him the video footage of that time then he said its our staff fault . Firstly i suggest the owner of the hotel to teach him some customer dealing such a foolish and liar person this man is just like mini arrogant panda . Worst experience Dont vist this hotel There many more hotel across mg marg go there but don't visit this hotel this person is a arrogant and a foolish man who fights with his customers and refuses from his word's

This is a very good hotel situated right in the heart of M.G.Marg and the fares are very budget friendly. We reached pretty late, 12 midnight but the staff was there to receive and help us. We had a good stay in the family rooms which were quite spacious and clean.

Stayed in a suite. It has a beautiful view of Knchenjunga right in front of the window.. good staff. Good service for the price. Just on the road.. highly recommended. Mg road, ropeway, lal bazar all in walking distance..
