It feels like you're in heaven the time you reach here. The best view of Kanchenjunga. It will be on your eye level. The most serene place I've ever been to. The food in this homestay is THE BEST!! You're not gonna forget the taste of the food for sure.

Booking: We(two families) have booked this hotel through their office in Garia, Kolkata. Mr Dibyendu Ghosh/ Mrs Mohana Ghosh(Mobile: 9830271064, 9830440463, 9433119536). We stayed there during last week of May,2014. Two double bed rooms for 3 days were booked and view rooms were confirmed to us over phone. We have sent token advance through online. However when we reached their office to pay rest advance money and get the voucher for the confirmed booking, Mr. Dibyendu Ghosh told us that on first day two view rooms were not available and he could provide us only single view room. We asked why he had not informed us before, when we spoke over phone 1 week back as he was claiming the room was booked on the same day by other guest. He did not provide any suitable answer and we understand he was lying. We booked 1 view room for 3 days and another view room 2 days cancelling the 1 room on first day. ||When one family reached the first day and checked in good view room on 2nd floor. When he enquired about other room booking from next day, the hotel manager informed that the same room on 1st floor will be allotted. But when we arrived next day they were asking us to check in back side room which is not all view room and double bed room. I had pointed out two view rooms were vacant and why those won’t be provided to us when we are paying for view room and those are lying vacant. We tried to call Mr. Dibyendu over phone he was not picking up our call and then we tried to reach Mrs Mohana Ghosh, we had almost 1 hour hot argument over the room and finally Mrs. Mohana Ghosh finally budge on giving us the proper room.||Room Toilet: Clean on day of arrival but nobody came to clean during our 2 day stay. Geyser was there in toilet. Hot water available round the clock. ||Hotel position and ambience: Very basic building seems to be made for personal use and it is just beside the main road. There is no reception. Room was big enough and having basic furniture. Window is big to have a good outside view but should not opened during evening or night due to insects. ||Service: Good and staffs were friendly. ||Food: We took basic bengali food which tasted good but little bit oily and spicy which is usual for any outside food. Food provided on time as and when we demanded.||Local tour arrangement: Rate quoted very high when we checked with others. We took car from others. ||Around the hotel: The hotel roof was good to enjoy outside view and for group chat but has no shade so cannot be used during rain. There is nothing within walking distance around hotel which is worth of visit. Liquor shops and few basic shops are available for mineral water etc. ||Power Cut: No backup power supply is provided during frequent power cut.

I can only say one of the worst hotel with the tag of 3 stars. Entire staffs pretend especially one from reception as whole and sole and he don't have time or least bothered to hear or entertain any customer request. Well this review is based on 1st day stay only. More will come later as long as experience it. So today had dinner and everything from kitchen to dining hall is smelling like seems sitting next to garbage dump area. And above all the food which had been served, it's better for street dogs and not at all for humans.. And finally the blankets in room provided is full of dust, even the bed sheet, pillows etc is also have dust on it...not at all clean and hygienic. Luckily I had my own blanket which helped me for my kids at least. So next time anyone please be aware before choosing this very very unhygienic, full of dusts and horrible food... Cobgratulations and Best of luck to all the hotel staff for providing this horrible experience.

we went to west sikkim tour last month and staying at hotel kanchn view bermiok. we booked two viewed room from kolkata office. our rooms were at perfect condition, windows was big and view from the room was excellent. we have seen different types of birds which are rared and viewed here only. food quality was excellent , staffs were very formal and friendly.||||i have already visited sikkim before more than 8 times in different places but the specility of that place is you can enjoy mount kanchenjunga from your rooms, which i think this is unique piont of this place. ||||last of all i am very much satisfied to visited the place bermiok and enjoyed staying at kanchan view hotel and i must have to say the name of hotel is relevent.

“Thank you for an excellent stay I was fortunate to spend nearly 4 nights at The Hotel Kanchan View, Bermiok, West Sikkim.The room was very spacious and clean and pleasant. Hotel is good as they maintain a very Good atmosphere. Interior is extraordinary.. Room maintainance and servicings are very favorable to the guest .The reception staff treats the guest with friendliness .Overall I loved it and would definitely give it 5 star

I booked this hotel through Agoda. At the reception, they checked the online discounted price was not matching with their expectations and refused us to check in. If the management has a fixed tariff rate, they shouldn't have allowed to list their property on other online platforms hence visitors don't get misguided.

It's a budget hotel... they conduct East Sikkim Tour & North Sikkim Tour at very reasonable rate
