Hotel Phamrong Retreat

This Hotel was so nice back in 2016. Now the owner just cashing out of broken furnitures, basically broken eberyth. It is so so dirty. They even give used towels. I am really really disappointed.

We personally liked our stay. The location is great - right next to the taxi stand, a police post and an SBI ATM, the view is great (room 106) clear view of the mighty Kangchenjunga and other peaks. Food is okay. Service is good. Sheets and towels were clean and there were complimentary toiletries. Good clean bathroom. The geyser works. The TV works too. As far as a 2-star hotel goes Phamrong is on point.

If you want to see Kanchenjunga mountain then stay in upper Pelling. This hotel has limited car parking. Ask for the Mountain View room. If the weather is clear then you can see Kanchenjunga from your room. Service is good. Ropeway and skywalk glass is nearby few kilometers away on same down road. Safe for family. Ask hotel manager to arrange cab for sight seeing. For us he arranged a good cab at affordable price.

Worst experience . Worst service and don't go with the Google photos. We had payed for breakfast but we didn't got it. They didn't even given refund. In room it was smelling like gutter. Blanks were stinking and no drinking water was provided. Had very bad experience. I visited this hotel on 14 may 2024.

Worst experience in my lifetime.Hotel cleaning staff stolen my wife's sweater and also missing my costliest glassware from my room.After complaint hotel management not resolved my problem but they have given so many excuses.This had happened in my life 1st time at hotel stay.My family fully demoralized about the hotel.How can anyone trust on hotel staff?I had booked that hotel through GOIBIBO.I also booked Super deluxe room but they had provided ordinary room because they had already given that room to another guest.Very old and unhygienic property.Hotel inside feeling like haunted house. Never booked that property.
