Serchhu Farmhouse (Traditional Heritage Hotel)

The hotel's location is the best part, the valley view from the balcony attached to the spacious room is incredible, even the Kanchanjunga ranges can directly be spotted with sips of coffee ! The food was absolutely amazing. But most importantly the involvement of each and every staff member about guests' comfort takes the winning score, thank you Krishna bhaiyya, Avi, Firoj, Sushmita and dear Babita.

If you are fond of a lonely place full of tranquillity and solitude , this is a perfect place . Beautiful property downhill from Pelling . If you prefer a nearby market , cosy restaurants, then this is not the place for you ||Google maps will show you the right directio, but don't believe Google time to reach and distance that comes in the map . I got fooled .||The property is like a home away from home . This property does not serve non veg food ( but egg preparation is available) .||Food a bit pricey , not only in this hotel but all across Pelling . The reason being that source of supply is Geyzing . This market caters to Pelling , Getting and Yangte apart from the cantonment of Shashastra Seema Bal . ||The chef Hari is a super guy and churns out really delicious food customised to suit your taste buds . ||The rooms are catered by Bimal, another super guy who takes care of your needs .||Last but no least , Ms. Babita, always with a smiling face , takes care of the comfort of your family .||There are two types of rooms , deluxe and super deluxe . The super deluxe has a small balcony and the room size is very impressive and has a wonderful of Mount Kunchenjunga from the bed . ||Really appreciate the hospitality met out . Since I was very specific about Sports 18 ( World cup matches ) , I spoke to them in advance and believe me you , the moment I checked in my room , Sport 18 was there on TV playing .||They really take care of the guest very well . Will come back to this property next year to cover Namchi and Ravangla .|To our surprise a bonfire was also arranged for us .|Travellers travelling should opt for Room 301, where I have stayed . It gives a wonderful view of Mount Kunchenjunga.

The hotel offered best views of Kanchanjunga mountains to my pleasure, i could see everything from my bed. I just sat back and relaxed completely mesmerized by the exquisite ambience. The food was super delicious and the staff extremely helpful. The hotel manager went out of his own way to make us feel comfortable and welcomed

It is a great experience to stay in Serchhu Farmhouse.||we booked it thru online plateform and was not sure about the Quality of property.||But when we actually experienced it in 2 days stay we found it worthy. ||If u r more than 6 people than go for 2nd floor separate apartment, where 4 bed rooms with common loby is there for group enjoyment.||Very good kanchanjangha view from balcony.||Good food||Can arrange bonfire on advance information||Only 1 drawback that parking is not available inside premises. ||Over very good experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed and loved my stay at Monal homestay. I was very well looked after. I was unwell during my stay but I was given the care and nutrition by body needed too. The staff are amazing, very friendly, kind and helpful. I was not treated as a guest but as a friend, which was a great feeling. I felt at home and happy. They pay attention to every detail of their guest’s likes/dislikes. Monal homestay is located in a very peaceful area of Geyzing, surrounded by forests. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the town. It is nice to do short / long walks either side of the homestay, or you can do longer hikes. I was given great advice on which tours to do during my stay. This review isn’t enough to convey to you how much I enjoyed my stay, it was amazing! A great place to relax and rejuvenate! I will definitely be going back!

The location of the stay is fantastic. If you are looking for a calm, serene place, you are fond watching birds, like the charm of forest,stay at Monal Heritage home. You can have a small walk in the evenings to the village observe the sunset, beautiful blooms, houses. The host Tanay and his wife are warm and welcoming. The sitting of the home is the part I enjoyed the most starring at the forest and sipping tea. They are always willing to guide you through sightseeing,routes, weather, food, permit. Do try the local cuisine made by them and off course the local millet drink.

Amazing Stay with beautiful and memorising natures beauty. Rooms are very very spacious also neat and clean. Staff very humble and honest. Great for families as they have separate floor for couples.Both options available for hotels rooms as well as cottage’s.

Last week we visited Serchu Farmhouse in Pelling. Our experience was excellent. Rooms were very big and clean. Kanchanjungha view from room was excellent. Exceptional food. Special thanks to the manager Mr. Anthony for his nice behavior.
