The best place to stay....we around 34 members from our Business team stayed there for almost 3 days... excellent hospitality... perfect service and owner was a good soul ....soo happy and felt very safe....food was ultimate.... thanku soo much sir for making our holiday a peaceful and enjoyable stay❤️🙏

I stayed at this hotel for one night with two friends, and overall, it was a decent stay. The rooms were clean, and the staff was very polite and well-behaved, making our experience comfortable. The hotel offers food, which they prepare fresh upon order, and we really enjoyed the meals. The location is great—just 10-15 minutes from Kodaikanal Lake, close to the town, yet peaceful. There is enough parking space available, which was convenient. The road leading to the hotel is not tarred or concreted for a short distance, but it wasn’t a major issue. The view from the hotel was decent as well. One downside was the availability of hot water. It wasn’t available in the evening, which was disappointing given the cold weather. Additionally, the room had no AC or fan, but it wasn’t a big concern for us. Considering the budget and the nature of our trip with friends, the stay was good. I would rate it 4 out of 5.

Stayed with my family for a day and it was very pleasant stay and we had a great time. Room had 2 double beds and big private balcony/terrace, 2 TVs and 2 bathrooms. Rooms are spacious. Sunrise view from the terrace/balcony was very beautiful/scenic. They provide Veg/non veg food prepared inhouse. Food was good and priced very reasonable. WiFi in the room was good. Hot water was available 24/7. Cons: No near by restaurants. Lift is not there and had to climb 40 steps to reach room with luggage :-( This can be challenge if seniors are in group. Approach road (200 metres) is off road and steep incline. Next to building, there is trash if its cleaned up it will be even more enjoyable.

I recently had a wonderful stay at Spring Valley Retreat in Kodaikanal, and it truly made my trip memorable! The location is serene and surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities. The staff were friendly, polite, and always willing to assist, which made us feel truly at home. I was particularly impressed by the prompt and attentive service provided by Mr. Riaz, the resort manager, and the delicious food thoughtfully prepared by Mrs. Selvi. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in Kodaikanal, I highly recommend Spring Valley Retreat. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature’s beauty!

We stayed at Spring Valley Retreat for two days and had a very pleasant experience. The location is easy to reach, though there's a slightly steep road leading up to the property—but nothing too challenging. Parking is available as well. What truly made our stay memorable was the excellent hospitality from Mr. Riyaz and Mr. Ibrahim. They were always attentive and ensured we felt at home, promptly addressing every query with warmth and care. The food deserves a special mention—simple, homemade-style meals that are hard to find in Kodaikanal. Prices are very reasonable too. Since there’s only one kitchen, it’s best to inform them in advance about your meal preferences and timing. Sharing your menu ahead helps avoid delays, especially during busy hours, and they are more than happy to share the options with you. Overall, we had a comfortable and satisfying stay. Highly appreciate the service and the homely atmosphere they provide.

The approach road to the hotel is steep & not in good condition.Beware , a flight of steps to be climbed , elderly parents will find it difficult. Paint has peeled off in some parts in the room & fungus on wall seen. A constant stink emanating from washroom which is felt in the bedroom too. Worst part - no water supply from 12 am to 5 .30 am ...Inspite of calling & complaining, water supply is not restored. Maintenance is poor. The only best part was the good food served by the one & only lady cook there who served hot , delicious food. Think twice before opting .

It’s so underrated One of the best location in the middle of the valley Night and morning views are superb Great Spacious Rooms with Huge Balcony Had a Great Romantic time with my Wife Great Hospitality Reasonable Food prices with Top Notch Taste Rooms are also in Budget Perfect for a Honeymoon Venue
