Don't see the negative reviews for this hotel. I stayed here with my family recently for 2 days and had a very good experience for a affordable price Rooms are neat and tidy and hotel has very cordial staff. Location of the hotel is also very convenient

Gud hotel, Rooms are neat they have renewed the Rooms. Staffs are gud. It is half km from the lake. Restaurant south Indian food very tasty. It is to our budget. For homely stay and safe stay we can choose this hotel. Really nice stay. In hotel complex they have ATM,Met plus. Ice cream parlour etc.|We recommend this hotel for comfortable and homley stay

Worst hotel ever... I stayed for a night and booked two rooms. Unfortunately, one of the rooms had a strong smell, despite informing the staff twice to clean it properly, they didn't do anything about it. Initially, I thought the price was reasonable, but after my unpleasant experience, it felt overpriced. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the receptionist and requested a reasonable refund, they pretended to call the owner or manager but denied my request, claiming that the owner was unavailable. They were unwilling to process the refund. Adding to my disappointment, there were water issues in both of the room as I booked as well. In the morning, there was no water at all, and when I informed the staff, they provided water that was heavily mixed with sand. It was an extremely unpleasant experience overall, and I strongly discourage staying at this hotel. If it were possible, I would have given a negative rating.

I visited this on Jan 2019.. Its a 6 story building (other 3 floors will not visible)... Its a medium budget hotel for all class of people with family. Rooms are very neat and clean and more than enough blankets. Available with TV, more than enough cupboards and enough charging points in all the rooms. u can find small rooms for singles and they have different size rooms upto large enough dormitories to have 20+ personal within one room alongwith enough beds and other facilities in one room.. That's great. But I felt the Bathroom fittings and Heaters are very old, u have to wait upto 30Min for another bath because of the less wattage powered water heaters. No intercoms, No kettles for heat the water urself. u have to go to the reception for hot water or use the oldest calling bell. I didn't checked the calling bells inside the room whether its working and anybody will come to serve. No parking space, But u can park outside without problems. But after all, Kodaikanal city is not large tourist city enough to visit more than couple of days. So mostly u will stay there for one night and morning u will check out in the morning. Its not 5star hotel u have to pay much for all the facilities I mentioned above. But its medium budget/ low medium so u will adjust bcoz u pay only less money. But if u want more than that u can find a next building adjustant to Saliah and OWNED BY SALIAH, its newly built next UPPER CLASS of this hotel.

Rooms were big enough for 6 people at an affordable rate of 2200 (2021). Hotel is also located at a good location from kodaikanal centre (1km). Geysers are available because of the cold. The hotel staff were compliant & hospitable. Enjoyed my stay there. ✌🏻

We went with pretty low expectations as we had booked a standard room, but the room we were assigned was beyond pathetic. The most basic requirement is getting clean sheets and room. The room was extremely dirty with stain marks all over the sheets and some on the walls. unclean bathroom, worn out pillows. So we asked the hotel staff to give us a better room, they changed the room and charged an extra 500 Rs for it, which was still not worth it. Anyways, this room was bigger and slightly cleaner. we asked them to change the bedsheets as they had hair in it. the hotel does not provide you with any services. only a metal jug (without water) with glasses whose contents i did not check. no toiletries no towel no soap, don't expect anything. Small flat screen TV with only Tamil channels and a very poor signal reception. the absolutely lackaidaisical attitude of the staff is visible everywhere, you will see them roaming around in the lobby in pajamas! now this wouldn't have been a concern if the overall experience was good, but in the end it added to the disappointment. At a price of Rs 1800/- per night, we just wanted a clean, basic room, but they failed miserably at it!||In fact the most important thing at a hill station is you would want to get a good night's sleep after hectic trips. this hotel was extremely noisy, and to add to that the staff came banging at our door around 6:00 am to find out if we had booked a cab or not. they do not seem to care about professionalism and organizing things properly.||The only reason i gave them 2 stars is the fact that i had kept my luggage at the reception for safekeeping after checkout, which they did faithfully. staff were polite and check-in/out was smooth, but the overall experience was very very disappointing.||Location wise, it is 1.5 kms away from the closest boating point at the kodai lake. the bus stand is a bit farther away.||Final verdict, it is better to sleep in this hotel if you cannot find a spot to sleep on the street, but you will feel that you wasted your money.

We(5 Bachelors) stayed in the Family 5 bedded room from 29th Dec to 1st of Jan. Room no:304||||First of all, the fare is very cheap for which i have to give credits. But the room and service provided were much worser than the least fare which we give.||||Being a hill station, everyone prefers a room with proper ventilation which provides proper warmthness to the room. But in the room in which we stayed (Family 5 bedded room), it was very chill inside even at 10 AM whilst it was a bit warm outside.||||A Family 5 bedded room is for 5 people which mostly includes kids. And the second important thing which is required is a cupboard for keeping things. But to our despair, we did not find anything in the room except ||||a granite slab on which the TV was kept, (And the granite slab was untouchable due to the chillness)||a mirror, ||broken hangers.||||A rare positive thing is the size of the beds. It was very large which would fit even six people.||||But the linens were very thin which were never enough for the temperature and we had to use our spare linens which we brought in case of emergencies.||||The restrooms were decent but not horrible as in other places. But the main negative thing was that we did not get 24hrs HOT WATER SUPPLY. Actually there was a water heater which never worked and there was a pipe supply for hot water which supplied HOT water only sometimes. And when enquired about this, they said that water has to come from upstairs and only if they are not using there, we will be receiving hot water.||||The restaurant above the hotel was one of the worst hotels in view of quality and fare. All the items were chill and we did not get any SAMBHAR or CHUTNEY instead we received DHAL. And the fare was very high.||||A good thing about the stay was that there was a ATM centre just outside the hotel and also several shops were nearby.||||And there was no separate parking for the hotel. We had to park our car just outside the hotel if there was space.||||The reception was good looking and the receptionist was a very good man.||||And at last, i sincerely ask "MAKEMYTRIP" not to provide false informations and amenities such as PARKING AVAILABLE, INTERNET AVAILABLE and so on.
