Saantham's Homestay

The place encapsulates the idea of Kodaikanal starting from the beautiful view from the property which is situated aptly in the center of wilderness with nature's beauty engulfing us from all sides. It was a family vacation for us to remember as all the staff were extremely friendly. The room is neat and well maintained. Great place to spend quality time with your near and dear ones.

I regret to share a disappointing experience at the homestay. The lack of responsiveness from staff, coupled with subpar amenities such as malfunctioning faucets, inadequate heating, and non-functional TV, made the stay uncomfortable. Despite assurances of free WiFi, it was never provided. The absence of a kitchen sink and minimal facilities added to the inconvenience. The only redeeming factor was the complimentary driver accommodation nearby. Considering the high price paid, the overall service fell short of expectations.

Not even deserve one star. It's an abandoned lonely ghostly place. We feel negative things at night. Nasty old toliet which is atleast 25years old, it can break at anytime. No taps in kitchens, uncomfortable bed, frequent power failures. Only good thing is poor friendly caretakers.

Dear all please beware of this nasty, creepy place, which was supposed to be a school long time back and now it's an abandoned place. The only thing I can say something good is the caretakers & the two friendly dogs. Rest of the property & stay is a real filthy & utter waste of money. The old worned out toliet which is atleast 30years old, not at all recommended for family. No taps in kitchens, filthy bed, frequent power failures, the approach road is an another disaster. Atleast they can give proper amenities for the rate they charge. The photos mentioned in the mmt & Google are not really true. The building is bound with negativity, spirits !

I stayed there for 3 nights and it was amazing , the workers were so good and friendly . We enjoyed the most . It was the best trip
