Capital O Hotel Taj Castle

This hotel almost killed my driver due to heat exhaustion. The hotel had no working AC in the room, cooling fans, or complementary cool water available in +45°C heat. My driver was unable to drive us back to our home because of this. My driver may have not told us he was suffering, but I don’t understand how a place can take your money and not provide even the most basic of services in this dangerous heat. I’m ashamed that our driver was exposed to such inhumane conditions. Don’t stay here if you value your life. I will be asking for my money back and reporting to proper authorities.

Hotel staff and manager were rude , and charged us extra amount for the stay. I was with my wife and my kid and reached hotel a bit late so did not had any choice but to pay 500 extra. They even cancelled my OYO booking after reaching to the hotel . Even the room was below par . It seems we were staying in a lodge not in hotel. You do not get single complimentary water bottle , you will have to pay for it . You are not allowed to bring any outside food to your room , you will have to order it from hotel itself . Overall it was worst experience till date. Never never never book Areeba Agra .

As soon as I checked in, the manager asked me to pay ₹576 extra and blamed Oyo for a lower price. There were cockroaches in the room. The bathroom's water supply suddenly went off. I had to go downstairs to inform the sleeping manager, "Paani kyun band ho gaya ?" After 30 mins water supply was restored. The curtains and cushions were very dirty. A railway station's waiting room is better than this. #Oyo #Oravel #RiteshAgarwal

This was a nightmare and OYO is mum about the same. I reached the location (provided in the google location in OYO app) at midnight. There was no Hotel Taj Castle. Called the owner and he said he can't hear me and reach the hotel location. It was clear that he was trying to avoid the call. A hotel called AREEBA was there in the same location. The hotel receptionist said they are not aware of Taj Castle but funny thing is they can see my booking in their computer. I booked for 2 people and even I got the msg from OYO for the booking of 2 people. They told the booking is only for 1 person and I was told to give Rs: 500 more. I contacted OYO and it was clearly understood that the hotel changed the booking for two person to one. And repeated calls to the owner didn't help also. Even the receptionist denied that they don't know the owner even though his name was written in the registration certificate. It was a clear scam and OYO is not even able to do a single thing. This is the height of cheating and OYO as I understand is not bothered. I called the OYO customer care a day after and I had a 1 hour call. Even the customer care agent is aware of the cheating but she said she can't do anything. I merely requested her to forward this issue to the top management to handle this so that atleast no other customer needs to face this but she denied that also. The funny thing is when I checked the google rating after that, I saw lots of reviews mentioning the same problem. I can't imagine now how these companies are still able to operate. Thier simple logic it seems is that the customer will not file a case and they can be ignored.

I wish I could give less than one star. This is by far the worst experience i have had in a hotel my entire life. No water, no staff cares, worst food you can eat anywhere and so bloody expensive. Even the hotel is half constructed. I would like to also add that the staff is really really rude and uncooperative!!!! I hope nobody else has to experience the waste of time and money that i had to endure. Also, I only stayed one nigh, god save whoever stays more than one night here!!!

Very rude behaviour of Hotel reception. Don't get attracted to the Hotel images or anything, as the best thing you need is easy check-in and good behaviour at reception. We booked and paid in advance, and when I called the hotel to be sure of my booking, they said that book from MMT and cancel booking from OYO site which was giving discount. They said they won't accept check-in. And the lady on call was so unprofessional. Even there names are different in photos and on site. What if you reach the hotel at late evening and they deny check-in even when you paid already. Such a unreliable Hotel. I cancelled my booking and not going to book any room here from any site because of their unprofessional reception on call.

The worst thing was that they provided a attached room and when we came back then the room was locked from inside and bags were opened and the lady took my phone and rate the hotel 5 star . Cheap policies they do not have trained staff no cleaning and nothing AC does not work TV does not work and they have hired staff from road side. They charge double for the water bottle pathetic service. Do not stay in this hotel they can do anything except the services.

I have booked by OYO & stayed for 1 day-night & It's terrible experience for me. After early check-in, suddenly police came to my room for asking some gold ring lost by previous stayed people. They came & searched my entire room. After that they moved me some other room twice in a day. First I check-in in 208 then 214 & 203. Worst room environment! No windows. Toilet light & charging ports also were not working. Room main door, bathroom locks are not working. Room is too much dirty so you can't walk by bare foot. BIG NO for families from my side! No privacy, No safe.
