Star Of Taj

There is no option of 0 star otherwise I would have given 0 stars. Worst ever hotel in my life. The bed springs have come out and it hurts the back. The bathroom is very dirty and no taps work even the flush in the toilet did not work. The geyzer is not working. The staff is having the worst behaviour. The lobby light is very bright and it enters in the room and there is no option of covering the light. Very bas experience.

Better stay at other hotel. Pathetic. Rude. Arrogant. Lazy. Dirty. Smelly. I left the hotel in 1 hr after check in and paying the price. I did not get the refund. The staff behavior was rude, arrogant and pathetic. The room was bad, dirty and AC was not working. They were only telling me to wait but not doing anything. I was tired and I did not get any relaxation after visiting here so I had to leave. I'm glad I left otherwise who knows what could have happened. Not a good behavior with the customer. There are many complaints from this place. Just listen to us and don't book here. Better stay at Dharamshala or anywhere else.

Never spend money on this site. Look for another neighboring property. Booking a hotel at Hotel The Empire will get changed to you a room at the Star of Taj (or possibly another location, as was the case with me). Professional services and staff listening are absent. Will charge 50 rupees for an unsealed water bottle that is filled with RO. Please make sure everything is physically checked before spending any money to provide a better and more comfortable stay.

The property is located near the east gate of the Taj Mahal. I booked it through Agoda, where it was listed as Hotel Townyard with a different location. However, they informed me of the actual location just before my arrival. Unfortunately, the toilet was very dirty, the shower didn’t work properly, and the washbasin retained used water. The room itself was passable.

They are scammers. Very unethical, they hide their identity, don't provide correct information, if you check booking.com the location is incorrectly mentioned. They charge higher than the agreed amount, we found unhygienic substance and had to cancel the booking, but they never refunded our money even after they assured 24 hours refund. Never recommended!

I am writing this review of room no. 201. Nice room but found small lizard in the room bathroom was not clean there was cigarettes but and drainage hole full of dirt although room and bathroom look good but cleaning problem. The hand jet's broken door of the bathroom is also broken. Good for couples who want to spend some time in private. Family also stayed.

One of the worst hotel you can get here... The staff is lazy, they made a very good hotel but didn't know how to manage it, hence toilets are dirty, water tap doesn't work, even flush too.. AC is in a bad condition and there doors are my worst enemy, book this if you want to live like akbars slave...
