The Heritage Hotel, Lucknow

Worst place to stay in Lucknow. Should be avoided as rooms are infested with rats which run through the false ceiling and ventilators. Very bad service , despite of complaining of the rats creating loud noise through the ventilators and false ceiling they were least bothered. Just imagine what would be the sanitation condition of the whole place. The place reeks of garbage stink. Such places should be closed by the department

The hotel offers a comfortable stay. The only issue was the cold wind that blew through the holes of the dilapidated window ac. This disturbed the sound sleep. At the time of check in there was issue of geyser, which was promptly resolved by the staff. Location is good. Very close to Charbagh railway station. The authority should focus on maintenance.

The atmosphere of the hotel won me over. It is most likely a large, sprawling and spacious bunglow turned into a bohemian style hotel. The room in which I stayed, was well furnished, with a television, a closet, sufficient number of sockets and a convenient washroom with round the clock running hot and cold water. The Hotel is across two floors, and each of the floors has enough space to stroll and sit around. It was a priority for us to have a hotel with open space(s) that are well-ventilated: The Heritage Hotel met our needs properly. The food menu was alright, with sufficient veg and non veg options for breakfast and meals. The room service was also very conveient; the behaviour of the staff and the owner at the reception was also very cordial. I would 100% recommend this to someone lookig for a hotel that is really close to the railway station.

Place really sucks. Room service couldn't really be worse. Forget about amenities, rooms don't even have basic requirements like toiletries and drinking water. Fans was hopeless, what to say about AC. Staying in room for an hour was like someone has put u in a darn jail cell, with a double bed.. Nothing less than a nightmare.

The hotel had an appealing exterior, but the overall experience was deeply disappointing. The premises were unclean, and the staff displayed rude and discriminatory behavior, showing little to no regard for their guests. The food quality was unacceptable, and to make matters worse, there was open defecation right outside the hotel gate, which remained unaddressed. This level of neglect and disregard for basic hygiene and hospitality is unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel and will certainly never return.

Good budget hotel. Rooms are a bit small but are good and clean. We stayed in Bamboo rooms. The lobby of the hotel is very beautiful. The location is just perfect as all the old lucknow spots are nearby. Overall value for money.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Hotel Heritage. The staff was outright rude and displayed zero customer service skills. The entrance to the hotel reeked of a foul smell from the sewers, making the initial impression very unpleasant. It’s shocking that in this day and age, the hotel operates with no proper management and an unprofessional attitude.The guy at the reception should learn some basic manners. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay. It’s clear they have no regard for their customers or their experience.

Original Lucknow hospitality. We visited in April 2024, but frankly, its a best stay in Lucknow, as compared to other so called star hotels. its in the centre of the city. People at reception were quite helpful and we were not disappointed for any single reason, highly recommended.
