17.10 to 18.10.24.Godavari 4 bedded Suite. Rs 7840 incl Taxes. Pros: Big area occupied in prime M G Road, very near Prayagraj Junction and Civil Li es Bus Station. Reception staff, housekeeping staff and Restaurant staff, all were very helpful, cordial and receptive. Room is very big. Neat and clean. AC and TV working well. Breakfast at the Restaurant was complimentary, limited but ok. Big renovation work is in progress. But not affecting stay. Cons Bathroom and toilet are separate, but very small compared to the main room. Water in bathroom does not seep out easily. So there is waterlogging for the next persons in the room to take bath. Mug in toilet was broken. Only one piece of soap is for 4 persons. Suggestions The slide door could be placed near the wardrobe, so that ladies can change dress in private after bathing. More fans can be placed in the opposite side, where inmates do not wishbto use AC. Overall satisfactory. Hence 4 stars.

Visited the hotel on a business visit to Prayagraj. Was sceptical before hand while booking but the Hotel management has proven me wrong. Hotel staff right from reception to in-room service staff has good softskills. One thing I would like to add from my side that the price paid for the room is not matching 100% to the level of service. The price must have been atleast 75% of what I paid will justify my stay. It includes breakfast in buffet. The Hotel is under renovation due to upcoming Maha Kumbh and would like to visit again in future

Central location. Property Under renovation. Rooms are large but damp. Manageable. Food and restaurant service is excellent. Prices are bit on the higher side. Beautiful garden and flowers as well.

This govt property is located at very prime location at Prayagraj and is a good option for stay in mid range pricing Parking available at the front of hotel. Has a beautiful lawn at the front. Also there is a indoor meeting cum party hall which can easily handle 100-150 persons Rooms are well maintained despite being a govt property and has suit room option as well. Rates vary from 2000 to 5000 with charges such as GST and extra bed additional. Cleanliness is satisfactory Room service available and complementary buffet breakfast with very limited option available. Overall may be a good option for stay with family at the prime location with safety

Was there for a night during my 6000km Roadtrip to Rajasthan. Hence booked the AC economy.||||Location : Just next to the bus stop, hence its readily identifiable in the maps. That's a serious plus in Allahabad.||||Rooms: The AC economy rooms, are not the worst that I have experienced in my life, but definitely stands in the bottom rung. Maintenance is next to 0. Beds are creaky , linens old, and the rooms felt damp. ||||Bathroom : Fittings are aged and stained. ||||Food : Cant say much since I survived on my own stocks. Breakfast was ok.||||The only plus point is that they have secured covered parking and that's a huge huge PLUS.||||The rooms on the front side are better, I have heard.

I stayed in this property for four nights during June- July'16 and the stay was comfortable. My room was clean, the maintenance was good and the room service was helpful. The property is located next to the civil lines bus stand and is not very far from the railway station as well.

Pros: 1. large rooms 2. Has garden area 3. Prime location Cons: 1. The staff is full of attitude and you won't feel welcome there. (Typical govt. Employee attitude) 2. Hotel is quite old. 3. Didn't get jet spray in the bathroom 4. old and broken furniture, even the door locks didn't work as they were broken. 5. The restaurant is extremely overpriced and the guy running the restaurant is really rude. If hospitality and amenities are what you are looking for, then you will get better hotels elsewhere. If you have a large family and you are okay with old overpriced rooms and being treated as if they are letting you stay there for free then you can go for it
