Hotel Ashoka Ganges

Staffs are good but I have few concerns with are : Before 11:00 am only they will call to check if you are vacating the room or not, if you are checking out they will call you before 11:00 am. Rooms are too small, bit pricy, they charge 2200/2500 for two variations of room: 1. Small Room with very small bathroom : 2200 2. Small Room with Small bathroom : 2500 Because of location I had to stay here, location is perfect.

There is no relation between the rate they charged and the rooms. Rooms are very small and not maintained neatly. They won't provide even water to the rooms and never pick up the room service phone. There is a bad smell outside the room and the open halls. There is renovation work is going on and so there is dust. They never bothered about us during our stay and never even helped or make arrangements for local tour or etc., Only advantage is nearer to Nandi circle (near to temple). Those who are in the reception of the hotel even won't smile at least. We saw the room boy only at the time of check in and check out.

The manager's behaviour is extremely bad. Doesn't know how to communicate with guests, if they don't understand Hindi. Wanted to charge us an extra 1600/- for mattress which we didn't even take. Rooms are very small according to the prices.

Third grade behavior by the manager(receptionist). He was literally shouting at us (I called couple of friends, who were staying in different hotel, to help me with luggage’s. He was arguing about having extra people in the room. We told him that they all came for 5 mins to help me checkout with luggage but he kept shouting. We also ask him to check his CCTV to make sure no one stayed in the room but he did not listen) I would not recommend anyone to stay here. 0 star.

Located at the Girijaghar Square it is at the prime location. Rooms are small but neat and clean. Bathrooms are also clean and hot water is also available. Room service is also good. We had good time. Stayed here for 3 nights.

It was a pleasant stay overall..I stayed there during shivratri. Also the city view was very lively .The room was neat and the service was remarkable. Will stay again.

The hotel is located in a very busy and noisy street. Rooms were very small. There's no almirah/wardrobe to keep your clothes. There was no place in the room to even keep your luggage properly. Washroom was too small, dirty and damp. Only good part is that Kashi Vishwanath temple was nearby.

The property location is really nice. Rooms are little bit smaller...but Clean. Hot water supply available 24 hr. They have good travel agent companion... Location is walking distance from ghats, temple and market...many food options arround. It is just out side of the vehicle restriction area...so always accessible from airport or station.
