There was no cleanliness in the room. Even after informing they changed the bed sheet but still the uploaded photos says it all The room was unhygienic. We reached the hotel late at night around 2:00 AM after traveling from Delhi. Before arrival, we had spoken to the owner/manager, Mr. Devinder Singh, who seemed quite friendly over the phone. However, our actual experience at the hotel was disappointing. Upon reaching, the staff insisted on full advance payment before allowing us to check in — even though we were a family group of 11 people, including children. This was very inconvenient and unwelcoming, especially at that hour. Normally, hotels take payment at the time of checkout, not before letting guests enter their rooms. When I mentioned this to the owner, he justified it by saying that “if you had booked online, you would have paid in advance anyway” — which didn’t make much sense in this situation. Further, when we requested a GST bill, he asked us to pay an additional 5% on top of the committed amount, claiming that we were given a special discount. However, the same rooms were available online at identical prices, which made this explanation unreasonable. Overall, our experience was unpleasant and unprofessional. The management’s approach toward payment and billing lacked hospitality and transparency. Definitely not recommended for families traveling late or expecting courteous service. Dear Mr. Devinder, I appreciate your response, but I must clarify a few facts you’ve misrepresented. Firstly, it’s completely untrue that we mentioned 7 guests. During my telephonic conversation with you before arrival, I clearly conveyed that we were a family of 7 adults and 4 children. Secondly, regarding the extra bed — yes, we requested one for a child, but it was never provided. It’s also inaccurate to claim that we used any bedding “without permission,” as there was no such provision available in the rooms. Thirdly, I went through several of your other reviews after our experience and noticed a pattern — whenever someone rates you low, you accuse them of having “ill intentions.” That’s quite unfortunate and doesn’t reflect well on your professionalism. Regarding GST, we have no issue paying it, but transparency matters. When I spoke to you at the time of booking, you clearly mentioned that breakfast and water were extra, but never once did you inform us that GST would be charged separately. It’s natural for guests to expect clear communication on all costs in advance. Sir, reviews — whether positive or negative — are meant to help improve service quality, not to be taken as personal attacks. As guests, we gain nothing by writing “ill” about you; we simply shared our genuine experience. I sincerely hope you take such feedback constructively in the future.

We spent a night at the hotel on our way to the Kumaon hills. The rooms are really clean and we'll equipped. Most importantly the staff is very helpful and was able to promptly handle all our requests. The owner of the property is a true gentleman and very gracious. He helped us plan our trip better. We would definitely be going back to this hotel for a longer stay and recommend it everyone.

The rooms are so spacious and cozy. Also the ambience is soo good. I've stayed in multiple hotels throughout haldwani but this seems to be the best yet, considering the facilities that they provide. It totally gives a Royal feel. I hope to continue visiting.
