Echor Baris Resort Mussoorie

We stayed at Echor Barish Resort, Mussoorie, and had a wonderful experience! The receptionist was very polite and the staff was extremely helpful throughout our stay. The room was very clean and well-maintained, and the view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We also celebrated our first wedding anniversary at the resort, and the hotel staff went out of their way to make it special for us. Overall, it was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mussoorie!☺️☺️

It was a pleasant experience to stay at Echor Baris. The staff was very hospitable and welcoming. The food was outstanding too. More varieties in breakfast would be appreciated if possible. The room has amazing view of the valley.

rooms smell of dampness and is filled with humid air inside. The balconies are clustered with collected flies from night and not cleaned. Service was average but not worth 6k for a night. Location is a charm. I was inquiring for a booking inquiry and the team had kept me waiting and responding different rates everytime I used to call them(Suraj from Sales). They used to ask me,"Sir what was the last price quoted sorry we lost the message we sent you". This happened for 3 months until I asked them to meet me in the property in August and they clearly denied, "we are busy" I adjusted and asked them to meet in October, I reached and stayed in the property while the "Sales Head" Mr. Chirag was travelling to visit the property for his benefit but would meet me as well. I waited entire Thursday and Friday, no one called me, no one proactively said when will he reach. I took followup 4 times if he would arrive or not. They said he was stuck in traffic and he returned - I was travelling from same destination and same route. I came back took followup thrice and they spiked the rates by 1.5lacs I quoted my last ask and they kept me hanging and started ghosting me. When I took followup, Suraj from sales replied me with 2 days back message saying they cannot reduce the cost anymore 7 lacs for a wedding of 35 people, 2 nights stay with food. I would rather pay jaypee residency manor 9 lacs for the same details, atleast I will get what I want at the price. This property sure looks good but is an illusion! So are the people behind the property

Great location. Quiet. Peaceful. Good for a family get together as well as a romantic get away. The ambience and hospitality was decent enough. Would recommend booking a Premium View Room for the added balcony view. A bit overpriced but worth the money considering we went during the peak holiday season.

We stayed at Echor in Mussoorie during an office trip, and the experience was fantastic. The hotel is located in a beautiful spot—nestled in the hills with stunning panoramic views of the valley. It offered the perfect balance of comfort and tranquility, making it ideal for both relaxation and team bonding. The hospitality was great, with courteous staff who ensured our group had everything we needed throughout the stay. The peaceful environment and scenic surroundings added a special touch to our trip. Highly recommend Echor if you’re planning a group or corporate outing in Mussoorie. Looking forward to visiting again!

We booked a hotel under the Echor brand, but the experience was misleading. The property didn't display any Echor branding, and the staff at reception and booking were different. However, the billing was done under Echor's name. The hotel's location in Barlowganj is stunning, but the rooms were disappointing. We found dampness, moisture, and fungus on the cushions (pics attached). When we requested a room change, the receptionist seemed unhelpful, questioning why we didn't inspect the room earlier. The bathrooms were cramped, with no space to hang clothes while showering. Food prices were steep considering the facilities. The breakfast was reasonably good though.

Mannu and all the staff is very nice and very polite. Rooms are very clean and nicely kept. Food is excellent. Hotel is very clean. We had a good experience and would recommend to my other family members and friends. |Mr. Lokesh of marketing was continuously in touch with me regarding all things. His way of talking, listening to what we had query and then solving it is very good.|I am very thankful to all the staff members for the memorable stay and would like to come back.
