Hakman's Hotel Mussoorie

Needs a lot of work to be worthy of a stay. The 4 star rating above, I cannot imagine how this was given, and how low were people's expectations. The is barely any staff. Reception keeps ringing but no answer. Rooms are properly bad and extremely cold. No amenities. Room didn't have water and was stinking (could be due to the rain, but unacceptable still) Barely warm water for bath. You can walk in the hotel for half an hour and not see any staff in daytime. I counted 3 total staff of which one was a security guard. They're will not be any staff before 830 am, and after 9-10 pm. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

The rooms are spacious and vintage. Location is the best USP of this property as it is located on Mall Road. Staff is polite and helpful. Breakfast was included in our stay which was delicious. But the facilities and services they are providing is not commensurate with the price. Needs improvement.

It's a perfect place for those who prefers peace and nature...rooms are great and the staff is also attentive and very polite. Have stayed here a few times and except one time, I have not faced any issue...The beauty of this hotel is their architecture of British style design...plus the amount of freedom and privacy you get to walk on the terrace even until late night...the safety is very good and night guard also is very kind...Mr. Ravi was exceptionally good and his politeness and hospitality was great. If you opt for room with breakfast, the food is delicious and they serve you very well and provide multiple options... However, overall they don't have food service so you have to either go out or order from other restaurant...you can go for Bellamount in that case...they never disappoint... If you are okay with not having kitchen service, there is nothing else this hotel lacks...During peak seasons they also arrange buffet but that wasn't really handled properly the last time I visited...since the staff keeps on changing, the experience could be different but overall it's good...it's beauty and space won't let you regret your choice... Not to forget that it's so nearby Mall road that anything you need is just few steps away so inconvenience could not be there...also the night dehradun view when it sparkles like diamond is also visible from the hotel's terrace itself... Rooms are way pretty and spacious and most important...very clean washrooms. The doors however are not very good of the rooms so better to lock it properly from inside, even the latches.

This is an excellent property in Mussoorie. I would definitely recommend this hotel for below reasons. 1. You would experience the splendid british architecture. 2. Location of this hotel is in mall road. 3. Rooms are absolutely clean and very specious. 4. Staffs are very well behaved.

I would definitely recommend this hotel as its in main location at Mall road. Rooms are big and historical place. Staff is good and facility is good too. I would highly recommend the manager @Harsh Barua as he is very gentle person and he manages the things in very well manner and politely. So any visitor how is going to this hotel or who is planning to go or who is planning to book online Kindly contact him he is very trust worthy person. Overall good experience with this hotel nice stay amazing view. Keep it up.

This place has the best size rooms with the old world charm and newly done up bathrooms, good place to stay right on mall road Mussoorie
