OYO 88692 Grey Castle Inn

Very poor stay for us.. 1. Picture and actual is not matching. Very poor quality rooms. 2. No kitchen access, not suitable for family 3. Access to property is very poor and risky for novice driver,it's on a hill with narrow road 4. Owner try to scam you with lots of promises, don't believe him... 5. Care taker was good and responsive 6. Reaching to mall road by walk is not possible as it's on top of mountain. You need your car or their help always. So if you need something always had to go to mall road... 7. Same property is advertised in different names in various platforms, don't trust the pics . 8. We paid 35K for 2 night stay.. he said Gala dinner for 5K for ( 6 adult)... Food was disaster, he cheated us... Very disappointed vacation we had.. owner won't listen to anything you talk..he is money minded... better avoid this property.

Very beautiful location. The hotel is situated on the upper side of the mall road. Staff provide free pick and drop service to the mall road. You can have the mountain view from your room. They also have a terrace where you can go at night. The rooms were also nice. Overall it's a nice option. The staff was very cooperative and they'll bring you warm water whenever you ask them.

The room and washroom were neat and clean. The hospitality was superb. Hotel-cum-homely vibe. The only negative thing which I found was its location. Quite far from Mall road and not easy to find on the map. Hoteliers will help you in picking and dropping otherwise it is tough to reach the hotel. No shops are available nearby. Rest I liked the scenic view from the hotel. Gunhill point is quite near this place.

Staff : Owner Harsh ji a very humble and genuine persona, helped everytime we needed, be it the route to the Hotel, picking and droping by his own car whenever you ask for. A helping hand of Harsh is Harish and that pahaadi guy is fulfillment to each of your need related to hotel, food etc, Harish is ready to serve you 24*7..... Location : A bit far but that is its beauty too, situated near gun hill where views are very pleasant........ Check-in : No hidden charges or drama in check in, prices are what oyo had showed. Comfort was up to the mark and cleanliness was OK. The Best hotel for budget stay 😊👍🏻

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. This was one of the nicest places we stayed.The view and calmness of the locality is fabulous

The stay was very pleasant. Room was clean and service was also good. It's somewhat uphill from Mall Road. However, they provide pickup and drop service. So that's not a worry at all. It's near library bus stand, so easy transportation to and fro mussoorie. Kitchen was closed during our two days stay there. Overall, it's a highly recommended stay in mussoorie.

Best location for relaxing. Had great experience but this home stay was disaster at the end. When reached, welcome was warm, we were satisfied with the view, but the moment we entered the rooms, bedding were way too dirty, pillows had hair stuck to them, bathrooms were stinking, bathroom sink had dirty mop marks, shower had no pressure and food was really expensive for no reason. The home caretaker started acting rude towards the end of our stay. As they said they will pick and drop us from mussoorie library but when the time came to drop us, he started saying we will not drop till the location instead a km away. We were 10 people with lot of luggage. The trip was actually ruined for us at the end.

The hotel was an excellent choice. The service was outstanding and all staff members were very friendly. The rooms, washrooms, and bedsheets were also impeccably clean. I will come back here again!
