Montreal by madhuban inn

I am travelling as a solo female and stayed two nights before heading on to my yoga course. The manager and staff where so helpful, friendly and hospitable. The rooms and bed are comfortable and the meals organised was the best I have tasted. I will defiantly stay here again/

We stayed for a night at this place. The room was clean and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. However the hotel uses solar heating system for the hot water supply in the bathroom and when we were there the solar heater had broken down and there was no hot water. We had to take a shower in cold water in December! The manager was very apologetic about this ofcourse. Wish they had given a discount on the room rent considering that one important facility was not working. Also do consider taking your own towels because the towels that were given to us were old and threadbare . Hopefully if all this is set right this hotel would get a 5 star rating.

It was an excellent experience being at Montreal. The staff was very good and very soft spoken. They also guided us well and ensured we plan our Rishikesh well enough to cover / visit all tourist places. They guided us to a veg restaurant that helped us withbour dinner in all 3 days we stayed there. Only drawback was the Kettle was not working which they replaced it immediately on complaint.

Really nice personnel, everything was really good though the cleaning could be improved. The only ick was the noise sometimes when other customers are talking loud in the corridor. Apart from nice everything was perfect. In the midway between rishikesh bus station and the city center. You will have to take 2 tuk tuk to reach tapovan. The room was cold at some point but it was not too disturbing as it was warm outside.

Customer service was great. They greeted me warmly at the reception. Definitely looking forward to staying here next time. The establishment is 50 metres away from the main road, and it's peaceful. Best part, one can cross the main road and walk to the river. Ample and accessible car parking is available behind the hotel. I had to cancel my booking because of personal reasons, and they were understanding, professional about it. I spoke with Mr. Deepak, manager at the hotel and Mr. Saurabh, both were very hospitable and understanding. Will recommend the place to family and friends if looking to stay at a peaceful, relaxing place, a little away from market. Other hotels in main market/cafe area get a lot of foot fall and hence those hotels won't be genuinely concerned about their guests, or maintain the rooms, also their charges would higher. I feel Montreal by Madhuban is reasonably priced and well maintained with supportive staff. One may book with travel aggregator websites or call in for reservations at best prices. Look forward to staying here on my next trip to Rishikesh and update review with photos and experience.

The Place was easy to reach from Tapovan by shared TukTuk via Kyal Ghati. The Room was very clean with all what we needed: coffee, tea, hot shower and a comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they took their Time to explain us how to get around. Thank you very much for the positive experience!
