Hotel Ananta Inn

Worst experience ever. We checked in a room and the geyser was not working, the exaust fan was not working. We complained the receptionist and then they shifted us in another room. In that room the charging points were not working. Again we had to complain them. It started working after some time. The Bedsheets had weird smell. Lift was also not working while check out.

Good location. Booked the larger ‘deluxe room’. Advertised as A/C however there wasn’t one in the room. There had been one in the room at some point. If your wanting AC check there is one available. Extended our stay so it wasn’t all bad. I appreciate the rooms aren’t serviced daily / at all during bookings however I wish this was reconsidered, a room does need sweeping out occasionally as does a bathroom. Hot water was good.

If someone wants to waste his time and money please book your stay here. The staff was unruly, the service was non-existent and the rooms unclean. There was no electricity (no backup) for the majority of our stay. We had to bathe in cold water in shivering cold in the month of December. The flush took ages to refill and we had to use the mug as a flush. To top it all, even the lift was not working and we had to carry our heavy luggage up and down the stairs. Please do yourself a favour and don't book this hotel if you want to keep your sanity.

Very good service and value for money, I think if you negotiate, you'll get rooms for a bargain and the ambience in rooms feel like a 3 star hotel.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel. For 900 bucks per night, there's nothing to complain about this hotel. Rooms were neat n clean, AC had some issues,but was sorted by the staff, bathroom was good. Staff was courteous and friendly. They also helped us for booking our Water Rafting bookings. Breakfast was decent. They have a in house restaurant,we ordered some snacks, taste n quality was good. Looking for a budget hotel in Rishikesh, close to Laxman Jhula and other amenities,ur search should end here. We were very happy with our stay. Rooms had bad sound insulation, but since it was a dead end road, didn't bother us much

Good: Room service was ok. Food was basic, decently priced affordable and quality was fine. Bathrooms were quite clean and have a bidet. Laundry service is also offered. Takes about 24-48hrs to receive it back. Not so good: The toilet only has a bidet and no hose pipe. Bed linens were stained and worn out. Room service did not clean the toilets on two occasions. Walls were very mouldy and paint had come off in many places - the photos of the rooms on the OYO app seem to have been taken when the hotel was brand new. I would not recommend this hotel for a long stay. Too expensive for what was offered. If the bed linen & mattress clean and the walls had a fresh coat of paint, I wouldn't have this low opinion of this hotel. If the price was lower than 1300/night for the 1 month I stayed here I could've put up with the issues.

The hotel was good, we got services more than we expected. For example we checked in for a day but hotel manager let us have our luggage in one of the rooms, the reason we need to have our luggage stored is because we wanna go rafting just. After checkout n after rafting we seriously dont wanna pay more money for hotel room, so manager n staff was so helpful, they even let us change n the restaurant was also so good, I mean , i felt like I was at home as the restaurant staff even let us enter in their kitchen n let us prepare lemonade, the only thing u gotta worry is that just make sure u dont check in anywhere except this hotel in that area. :)
