Hotel Grand Galaxy

Good hotel with nice staff. The hotel is situated near to the car parking of Laxman Jhula police station so you won’t face any difficulty of car parking. The rooms deluxe rooms were tidy and spacious. Good place to stay if you’re going with family. While online portals may charge more rate on booking online. I recommend to call them directly to fix a price.

I booked this hotel through online with free cancellation, pay at hotel policy. I confirmed with hotel staff about my booking from a day before check in. He confirmed my booking but on arrival day I call to hotel personnel for asking the car parking, he asked me with what name your booking is. I replied and he said that your booking has cancelled and we have mailed you. But i didn't receive any email or sms alert about cancellation of my booking. I was about to reached at hotel and got this kind of response and behaviour of hotel management staff which I wasn't expected. Moreover they didn't want to hear anything from us and we had to pay high charges for another room in this hotel . After getting back to home from my trip I checked my profile there was no cancellation showing. They lied to me. No AC remote was provided to us even in super deluxe room. No lift facility is available in this hotel. My experience was totally worst with this hotel and with their management.

1.Its a 5 floor hotel and no elevator provided, you have to walk the steps||2.Laxman Jhula view available only after 4th floor and partial.||3.They only rent rooms and forget about needs of the guests and provides only room cleaning in the name of service.||4.Frequent Electricity power supply cut issues.||You will get water for drinking pupose only if requested and will be chargable.||5.You may get cockroaches in Bathroom and monkeys in the balcony.||6.No service like a good hotel at all. Literally won't recommend anyone this hotel at all. Truly waste of money.

During the winter, heater is available making the night more comfortable. Staff is gently. Price is very affordable. Location is extremely good with good restaurants and cafes around. Don't miss Chatsang in the same building as the hotel. Rooms are clean and seems a new construction. In general, it was a good experience when compared with other simple hotels in India.

Very comfortable, some rooms have great views. If your room has a tree outside, you will have very active monkeys on the balcony instead. Kind staff, laundry available. Make your own arrangements for long-distance drives. Note that Laxman Jhula pedestrian bridge is closed, ferry available nearby. Chatsang has good food and coffee next door. Restaurants across the street have great Ganga views.

Its a 5 floored hotel but no lift provided, you have to walk up on your own. Laxman Jhula view available only after 4th floor and it is all partial. They only rent rooms and forget about services. Frequent power cut issues. Drinking water is all chargable and everytime you will have to ask yourself for it. There are cockroaches in Bathroom and monkeys in the balconies. Hotel does not fall in the category of even one rating. Literally won't recommend anyone this hotel at all. Truly waste of money.

Pathetic hotel I visited in my life. I ordered Simple food i.e dal tadka and steamed rice for my 15 month old baby they took 1.5 hour to send it, my baby kept waiting for food at last slept without eating. Before finalising room we asked whether they have hot water facility in washroom to take shower They confirm it and after check-in they refuse saying it will come in the morning. I stayed in room number 102 where even door lock was also not working. You have to keep room open if you want to go out. Bedding was dirty i requested them to change it, though they changed it but even the fresh one was also not cleaned. The water bottle was having bad smell, I requested to give fresh one several times but they didn't send that at last I had to order mineral water bottle. No Almira and hangers in room, No electric cattle, no tea or coffee packs, etc etc etc... I don't know how they fulfill the criteria of 3 star hotel. Worst hotel.

It’s a great budget hotel with polite stuff. Mainly it’s clean. Bathroom has hot water shower. They gave our driver a bed to sleep even though they didn’t have provision for it. Very close to laxman jhula so you can walk there even at 12. Freedom cafe has great view nearby. La Bella in front has good view and good food. If you are lookin go for just cheap good place, this is it
