Hotel RR Residency

Let's start with the pros. Hotel is located at a decent place. That's the only pro of staying at the place. Now coming to the cons - 1) Hotel didn't allow chekin saying we don't have details of your stay. We kept calling OYO customer care and they kept dilly dallying the whole thing. Finally, they allowed chekin after one hour. 2) There was no water in the room and it was only after we pointed it out that the staff managed to fill up the water tank. 3) No toiletries were provided and there was no dustbin in the room. We had to hassle with the staff to get both of those things. 4) The room was pathetic with old and smelly bedsheets and blanket with no pillow cover on the Pillows. Pic attached. It wasn't worth sleeping on, period! 5) There were no curtains on the windows, pic attached. 6) The TV wasn't working, either. 7) The room and the toilet were so small you'll wonder if it's a prison or a hotel room. Again, pic attached! 8) Add to that the fact that the reception number wasn't working, either. So if you want to point out anything, you need to go to the reception and argue with the arrogant guy. Overall, PATHETIC experience to say the least. Never using OYO ever again!

The hotel is located in good location accessible to all the major sight seeing places. The rooms are good, clean and well maintained. The service is also commendable. It is near Tapovan area of rishikesh and one must do river rafting booking from here itself. The views are also good. I enjoyed my stay here.

Very bad hotel, the room are very creepy. Dusbins don't have binliners the blankets are full of dust. Toilets are broken it doesn't even have a faucet. Door Handel's are broken. However if you are on a tight budget and have no options you shouldn't pay more than 700 per day.

The rooms are neat and good. Its very near to Laxman Jhula. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Even though the bus stand is at some distance, it is en route to Badrinath. So you can get all the buses from near the hotel itself. Would definitely recommend it.||NB: The area is filled with stray dogs at night. Would recommend an early checkin.

If in case less than one 🌟 is present would opt for that, this hotel and mgmt is not valid for any kind of better review. First and most, GPS of location is wrong. No clean rooms and even after informed not cleaned. Stinky smell of beds and bedsheets. Service from mgmt is worst, they directly say go and inform where ever you want, this is how it will be. Such a irresponsible people they are. They say complimentary food is available but wantedly do not provide on time,so that we just leave off to save our own time. Even after complaining no use in case of service.

Shivanta residency is one of the best places to stay. Great hospitality and very spacious rooms with balcony. The staffs are really friendly and can chill with the dogs in the hotels. The food in the hotel is also good. It's like Ghar Ka khana. Overall a great experience, will definitely go back here.

Worst hotel ever. Staffs are very very bad and disrespectful. They won't treat you properly especially if you a girl. Please trust me and don't ever stay in this one. There is a mid aged manager who did all these with one of my friends. Please find any other hotel to stay but not this one.

Discovered my wife had fallen ill in another nearby town and decided not to stay the night. Uncompromising staff unwilling to partially refund. food was sub par. The room was okay, but much better deals all over rishikesh for the price.
