Hotel Namoh Stay

Pros: Staff are polite, friendly & well behaved. Cons: Everything else is negative. 1/ During my stay of 16/Oct/2024 & 17/Oct/2024, there was an electrical work going on in the area. There was no power backup during the day in my room. 2/ Their Geyser never worked. AC sounded like it was working, but no cool breeze was there. Thankfully the weather was cool, so we didn't suffer for the AC. 3/ They have a restaurant on their top-floor & foods are over priced. 4/ I ordered one milk-tea without sugar & french fries. They delivered me two milk-teas with sugar & french fries. 5/ They don't have any lift or escalator. 6/ I had two different prepaid bookings in this property, for different durations. After my booking, the location & price of this property got changed. My total booking amount of the two bookings was more than the changed (increased) price of the property. But individually, the price of my first booking was less than their changed price. I never got any proactive communication from the property, that this could be a reason for my check-in decline. A few days before my check-in, when I contacted the property to verify if everything was good, they informed me about this. Which is a sign of very poor business management & irresponsibility. I had to change my booking of those days to a different property & now I'm satisfied with the decision. My only regret is that I should've changed the later booking to a different property too. 7/ The room was not provided to us in proper condition. The room was clean but our bed was not arranged properly. Seemed like used. 8/ The windows between our room (203) & the hallway had transparent clear glass. The curtains inside were not of enough length to maintain the privacy. 9/ Stairs of the building are narrow & hard for someone to pass with luggage. 10/ During check-in we were told that RO drinking water was complementary. But when we asked for it, we were told that their RO was not working properly & we were offered to purchase packaged drinking water. Overall, our experience was not good & I won't recommend this property.

I requested to cancel my reservation due to a 3-hour delay in my train reaching Haridwar, which prevented me from catching my bus to Rishikesh. However, they refused, suggesting I take a taxi instead—which would cost as much as booking new accommodation in Haridwar. There was zero consideration for the customer in this situation.

Me and friend stayed for 3 days out of which one day we stayed in dorms, their rooms and dorms are really very clean and spacious and the hotel management staff, like bhupendra Ravi and Harsh are amazing folks to host you there

It's very close to the Ganges and in a prime location of Tapovan. Property matches the photos. Food is very good, and their cafe is huge and good place to hangout.
