I had a truly wonderful experience during my stay at Tapovan Hills. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and every detail reflected great care. I had one of the worst experiences staying at this hotel. First of all, the room I was given looked nothing like the pictures shown online. It was misleading and disappointing right from the moment I checked in. There were cockroaches all over the room. At night there were 2 mice running in our room. The room with balcony which i booked was not same as shown in photos it was facing a construction site and was not a pleasant view cleanliness in the room was very questionable washroom was also not clean bed-sheets were dirty. MOST IMPORTANT(PRIVACY AND SAFETY) One of the telephone repair guy entered my room with master-key during day time and then ran away. Amenities, the service was very poor , the swimming was very dirty, one cannot even put a feet in that green water. In short, this hotel is a complete waste of money. Misleading advertising, lack of privacy, poor facilities, and no value for what you pay. I would strongly advise others to stay away. PLEASE CHECK WE HAD BOOKED BY MMT: 19/7/2025 to 21/7/2025

I recently stayed at Tapovan Hiils in Rishikesh, and I had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a peaceful area, yet it’s close to all the main attractions like Laxman Jhula and the Ganga Aarti spot. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities provided. The staff was polite and always ready to help. One of the best parts of my stay was the calm and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel also has a swimming pool where you can sit and enjoy the view, especially during sunrise or sunset. It’s a perfect spot for solo travelers, couples, or even families looking for a comfortable and budget-friendly stay in Rishikesh. Would definitely recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Rishikesh!

It’s away from the crowded areas, but still close enough to key spots like Lakshman Jhula and the local markets. Rooms: 4.5/5 The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-furnished with a touch of elegance. Many rooms come with a private balcony overlooking the river, which is a highlight. The only downside is that some older units may feel slightly dated. Food: 4.5/5 Their in-house restaurant serves delicious vegetarian food, with both Indian and continental options. The breakfast buffet is generous and includes fresh fruits, juices, and live counters. Facilities: 4.5/5 The property has a wellness center, an infinity pool with a river view, a yoga room, and a spa. The gardens and walking paths are great for morning walks. We were highly disappointed with our recent stay. The cleanliness of the rooms was far below acceptable standards—stained walls, and an overall lack of upkeep made the experience quite unpleasant. We had booked a deluxe room, but it resembled an outdated executive room with worn-out furniture and poor lighting. Service was equally disappointing. Staff responsiveness was slow, and basic requests took far too long to be fulfilled. The receptionist, in particular, was unwelcoming and dismissive, acting as though she were doing us a favor rather than offering hospitality. I’m extremely disappointed with the level of service I’ve received. I’ve called reception five times requesting a water bottle, and instead of fulfilling such a basic request — something that’s included in the amenities I’ve paid for — I was told to come downstairs and fill it myself because the staff is “too busy.” When I tried to explain how unacceptable that is, the call was abruptly and rudely cut off. To make matters worse, I placed a food order for snacks over two hours ago, and it still hasn’t arrived. This level of negligence is completely unacceptable. I expect immediate action — this is not the standard of service I was promised or paid for. Worst hotel

Well overall the experience was good. The hotel is very beautiful and rooms are clean. Manager is humble and the staff is very welcoming. Food is also good. They can also help you rent scooty. I had no issues with check in and check out.

I recently stayed in the hotel tbh it was disappointing, FIRSTLY to start off with the location no doubt it is near the important areas but it is situated deep inside narrow streets where u can't take your cars, if you try to take your cars most probably you will get stuck, SECONDLY the room with balcony which i booked was not same as shown in photos it was facing a construction site and was not a pleasant view cleanliness in the room was very questionable washroom was also not clean bedsheets were dirty on being questioned they told us that they get their laundary done from some other person, THIRDLY AND MOST IMPORTANT(PRIVACY AND SAFETY) they entered my room with masterkey during night time and then ran away, the next day I received a call on their landline(provided in rooms) and somebody was saying "hello ji.. good morning" that was creepy af, FOURTH-Amenities, the service was very poor they dint do as told in time even the pool was always not available due to some reasons or another, however the staff/receptionist were polite but the person who opened my room was also from staff so it remains debatable, FIFTH-Reviews, they offer a gift for a review so most of the good reviews are basically for a gift, Please Avoid visiting this hotel for a safe and peaceful travel.
