Karwaan Hostel

Excellent experience! Concierge and staff were helpful, they went out of their way to get us bandaids. The filtered water tastes delicious, dinner was delicious, and the hotel is located in a great location above the water with a peaceful atmosphere. This is a great place to stay if you want a quiet and smooth experience in Rishikesh!

Rooms were clean and spacious. I stayed in 4 bed dorm, bed was clean with separate curtains for each bed for privacy. Charging point was available for each bed. Ac was working properly. Washroom was clean and equipped with essential toiletries. As it was a hostel, not hotel.. towels were not given. Staff was very polite and helping. They had cafe on the roof top, food on demand was also available. Location was not so accessible to public transport but market is in the walking distance so it wasn't that problematic. Overall had a pleasant stay.

Had booked dorms initially but due to some AC problem they shifted us into two bedrooms. Game room and all is up to the mark. Best is their cafe.. bhaisahab, apt price, apt quality, apt waiting time, fantastic service there. The location might be a problem for some specially if you have to frequently move out of the building- without a vehicle it can be cumbersome as it is located quite inside a locality and that too at a good elevation, feels like a trek getting there.

Both premium and deluxe rooms are good. A good view and mirror are lacking in both though. Food is tasty but there is no room service and canteen closes at around 2230. Try booking online rather than walking in. We thought otherwise so we called the reception instead of booking online. But since receptionist was asking for more money than online rates, we tried to book online but the receptionist had closed the online booking after our conversation. Therefore, we end up paying more. That was a negative experience. Otherwise, it was fine.

The people are very nice, the view is awsome. There are few hot water in the shower, if you like the long one and few matrasses are soft. We were in 2 rooms, one of which is with jakuzi, it was really nice.The price is all right too.

A nice hostel with great service and friendly staff, especially Vaishali Gupta, who is very kind, helpful, and efficient with her work. Although we chose the private room to stay in. The room was very clean and quiet, and I must appreciate the cafe they have. The food was tasty and very reasonable.

Nice hostel. Big clean room. Good terrace on top for eating or just to chill out. A bit up hill specially for the first day with suitcase. Near the 60's cafe (tapovan). The staff is friendly and helpful. Big thanks to the owner who kindly gave me a lift to the ashram I was also bocked for a few nights.

Amazing stay for all kinds of trip. Weather visiting solo, in a group or with family, this place fits well for all. Lively common area suiting best to chill and work. Well maintained luxurious Dorm and private rooms are available for stay. Cafe cum mess serves decent food throughout the day. Decent crowd in this property to meet new people and hang around. Organizes trip within city to explore. I was taken on an beautiful ride by Tammy (Employee/Manager). Overall a good stay experience. Would Recommend.
