I recently had the pleasure of staying at Wanna stay , and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel boasts a perfect blend of comfortcomfort, luxury, and excellent hospitality. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and well-equipped with all modern amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The housekeeping staff maintained the room exceptionally well throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the hotel's staff—friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a warm smile. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction truly stood out.

In general, a nice and comfortable stay in a very convenient part of Tapovan. It's a stones throw from all of the shops, restaurants, and adventure companies, which made getting around super easy (not many ubers or tuk tuks out here). The rooms are lovely and spacious with fairly modern decor. Bathroom very clean compared with other budget experiences. We extended our stay for a few days. Things that detracted included: poor and disorganised room service - had to ask after 3 days of no clean for new linens and a floor sweep, and it took repeated requests and a whole day to organise. We got back at 2pm the next day and were told they'd be "5 more minutes cleaning". We waited 10 mins in the lobby, and when we got up there, they hadn't even started. We just had to sit on the couch in our room while they cleaned. After all that, the fresh towels we were given had massive gross brown stains all over them, and the new sheets had stains also. Otherwise, they did a good cleaning job of the floor and bathroom. The other thing we found very trying here was the communication in general. There were so many crossed wires when we extended our stay, and the first person we talked to apparently didn't make the new booking (so they were expecting us to check out!) Also, we received pretty demanding messages through booking.com the DAY BEFORE arriving, requesting prepayment the same day by noon, or our booking would be cancelled. Prepayment wasn't listed anywhere on their booking.com presence, so this was all a bit weird, especially that they'd tell us so late and then threaten to cancel if we didn't respond immediately. We were in Chopta at the time, so couldn't respond promptly. Needless to say, this was just a threat. When we turned up not having paid, they had not cancelled our booking. Same thing when we extended.... we walk through the hotel multiple times a day, but midday through our first extended day I get an aggressive message to "pay our room" though they hadn't yet even provided us with an amount or a payment link. Even though the first time they were happy to generate a payment link for us to use, this time they insisted that because we booked in person it was cash only. They tried to charge the same as Booking.com, which includes a huge amount of fees and taxes taken by the website. I argued with them over this and they agreed to charge the advertised prices without the taxes by paying in cash. In summary, the rooms are lovely, and its a great budget stay, but the service is pretty pathetic.

I had a wonderful stay! The rooms were spotless, spacious, and had all the necessary amenities. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The location was ideal, making it convenient to explore the city. The overall hospitality was exceptional. Definitely recommend!

Good, spacious room with a beautiful mountain view. It was a peaceful and soothing place to stay, perfect for relaxation. The hotel is located in the Tapovan area, which is currently less lively due to the ongoing construction of Lakshman Jhula, but there are plenty of great cafes and dining options nearby to explore. Overall, a worthwhile choice for spending the night in comfort. Management is also helpful and friendly.
