The Panash (Hotel and Banquets)

My experience with this hotel has been mixed. Rooms are clean but they are very small. I had booked a Luxury Double bed room which is extremely small. I checked if I could opt for a bigger room but it was sold out that day. This was in the 2nd floor of the building. There is nothing called luxury here. The bed is a queen size and small for 2 adults and 1 child. The mattress is extremely hard and not comfy. There was a family function in the banquet hall and there was loud music played which ended at around 11 in the night. The main problem was with the noise the caterers were making while wrapping up which ended till 1 or 2 AM which disturbed the sleep for the whole family. The breakfast was OK and the room service was quick. The food rates are very reasonable and the one's that we ordered for dinner was very good (Veg).

I’ve been staying at Hotel Panash for the past three days, and it’s been a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, making it very convenient to get around. Shashi Gupta is an exceptional host who ensures every guest feels welcome, and the room service team is equally efficient and attentive. The food is delicious, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. I genuinely felt at home here, and the value for money is impressive. It’s been a very comfortable and pleasant stay, and I’m looking forward to coming back again. Highly recommended!

One of the most pleasant hotels I have stayed, polite staff, clean rooms, economy rates, good food. If you are visiting Kolkata then I would absolutely recommend this place to stay.

Although the rooms r bit smaller but it was comfortable. Service & staff was excellent, very helpful. Rooms r neat & clean. Breakfast has less options bit taste was okay. Location wise it is fantastic, affordable & worth it. U can easily catch public bus from hotel gate & roam anywhere in the city. Also, even if they have indoor functions, rooms remain quiet, no disturbance.

Pros: 1. Good location. Only a few minutes away from the newmarket area. 2. Well maintained and overall cleanliness is commendable. 3. Friendly staff Cons: 1. No one-time sleeper for room/washroom. Remember to bring your own. It should be provided considering the price range of the room. 2. Limited items in breakfast buffet.

Good value property at good location .. Breakfast also good and most important neat and clean and staff are very helpful and active
