CALCUTTA YMCA and Seacom both are running the hotel rooms. All rooms are air-conditioned . Tariffs are moderate. It is situated at 25, Jawaharlal Nehru Road( chowringhee road). Heritage New Market is very near and well connected by Metro and other transportation.

Wonderful experience staying at Seacom. The staff is accommodating and friendly; they definitely stand out the most. It goes without saying that the location is great, being at the heart of Kolkata. Will definitely visit again.

Though the heritage ambience will lure people enough the food they serve was not upto the mark. The chicken stroganoff was good but the quantity was not enough. Two pieces of grilled fish cost around ₹498/- (exclusive of taxes) which is too much expensive. Though they claim the fish to be original bhetki the taste of that doesn't seem so..They served sundae mostly filled with ice which is absolutely absurd. After informing them they reduced the price of the sundae. Not recommended for fooding There's a request to the owner kindly give a check. Heritage building is a nice place for staying. We choose visiting every time when we visit Kolkata as it is Zero minutes walking distance from Newmarket Kolkata & they provide affordable rooms. Their Staff behaviour is also good specially Manas Dada. Also Nice place for chilling with friends as they’ve a big corridor setup front of the room. I think they need to improve their Washrooms. I guess their Washrooms need some renovation. I recommend staying there.

A good spot to stay is the Heritage Building. The structure exudes traditionalism and historical charm. Since they have reasonably priced accommodations and are only a short stroll from Newmarket Kolkata, we always opt to stay there when we travel to Kolkata. Additionally, the staff—especially Manas Dada—behaves well. Also, a great spot to hang out with friends because the room has a large hallway in front of it. They should, in my opinion, upgrade their bathrooms. I suppose they should remodel their bathrooms. I suggest remaining there.

This place is very close to Park Street. Esplanade and Park Street metro stations​ are close by. This is a comfortable and safe stay even for solo women travellers. The room size is good, the bathrooms are large. But expect basic clean Hotel. One important point is this is a three storied Hotel and there is no lift. Old people or people with knee troubles this can be a problem. Overall a safe and clean hotel at a very good location.
