Thrivikrama Lodge Review Thrivikrama Lodge has a key advantage—its location, just a short walk from the Mookambika Temple. To reach the lodge, you cross the stream (often referred to as part of the Holy Souparnika River, though sadly it's quite polluted—Holy Pollution), take the Foot Overbridge, and find the lodge on the extreme left, next to Chinmaya Lodge. This makes it very convenient for temple visits. One positive aspect is that the lodge has a lift, which is great for elderly visitors and those staying on higher floors. However, the overall quality of the lodge is disappointing. The rooms are dull and poorly ventilated, and there's a constant bad odor, something like cigarette smoke. Hot water is available only from 4 AM to 8 AM, so there's no hot water at night. The beds are okay, but there's no place to hang clothes, even in the bathroom. The single charging plug in the room is inconvenient, and it's tricky to keep phones or other devices on charge. On the bright side, drinking water (RO water) is available, and the reception staff is quite helpful. We did experience some power cuts during our stay, but the generator was a lifesaver. While the location is fantastic, the room conditions and lack of facilities make it difficult to rate more than 2 or 3 stars.

They are someone whom we can't trust booked via phone and reached there in late night and they told no rooms available think twice before you go there .Also it's near to temple don't expect any cleanliness near the area

We accidentally ended up here, but we found it to be quite decent. It's very cheap, they charged 900/- for a big room for 3 people. It's clean as it's relatively new. Right opposite the temple main entrance. Hot water is available only in the mornings and there were power cuts during the night. Staff were quite helpful.

Decent rooms.. No LIFT !!! Bit hectic for old people to climb up.! Multiple times they are asking to park the car accoding to their convenience. Very bad customer service....!! And the real issue is taking the car to the lodge premises. Roads and route to take car is hectic.! They will ask for 500rs advance along with full payment of the room ...and 500 they will return at checkout...,! Charged 1000 for double bed non ac ..!! Power failures in between!! Requested Ac Ac next day and paid 500rs extra... AC was not working properly they came to repair on our accommodation time they didnt give any compensation or discount for that...!!

Rooms are average. The bathroom was clean. The rooms were slightly dusty. The location is very good- just opposite the temple.

This lodge reception boy is my friend from so many years Iam going to this lodge only it is reasonable price Rs 500/- as about 2018 in normal days. As when tourist season (March,April,May)they may charge more like about Rs 2000/- it is very near to temple. Early morning 5.am hot water will be started upto 9am. I have there visting card and phone number. If any one needed ask in the question box I give you there.

Hot water in the early hours in the morning so devotees can have the morning darshan. Very Helpful and polite staff. Clean and hygine Rooms, with and without AC. Affordable Rates.

Very very good rooms and awesome service. Hot water is available throughout and no issues with power cuts since there is 24/7 generator service
