Chinmayi Tourist Home and restaurant

Horrible stay experience. Very dirty stinky and unhygienic rooms.Lizards and ants everywhere in room. I have stayed in this room for 2 days for Rs.2800 per day. As payment of the whole amount was done while checking in, they never cleaned the room or changed the lenin till check out.They are cheating pilgrims at every aspect. I urge people to not think about this hotel while searching rooms at Mookambika temple, kollur. I wish pilgrims don't book this room or else you will feel sorrow in your peaceful trip.

The rooms have no Ac remote, no TV, no glasses, toiletries or any other statutory items required for a tourist home. They charge exorbitant rent of Rs.2500-per day. The Kerala hotel alias Chinmayi hotel attached to this tourist home is also of poor amenities and clean environment.This room normally cost only less than Rs.1000-.but since the festival season all hotels and tourist homes are charging exorbitant rent. No action by the Temple Authority or by the Karnataka Government. The devotees are exploited very much in many ways. For journey from Byndur railway station to Mookambika temple of 32 Km distance a Tavera SUV charges Rs 1200- filling a maximum of 10 pax.

I had a very bad experience. While booking, they told me it would be 1600 for a three-bed room because of the season. I paid a 500 advance through WhatsApp. When I checked in on the 26th at 12:30 PM and checked out on the 28th at 4:00 AM, they asked me for 3600. There was no billing system or anything. The rooms were very dirty, with a broken small hanging mirror, a dirty closet seat, a non-working closet flush, a broken chair, and broken window glass. There was no room service. I would never suggest Chinmayi Tourist Home to anyone.

Rooms are ok, not that much expected one. Restaurant is not good, food and service. Waiters doesn't have manners. Food quality is not good. If someone looking for cheap price food, then it's ok

Very bad hotel ;please don’t go this property Very disappointed Total waste of money Reception staff (Naveen Shetty)was not good ,very bad attitude Atleast it was just in front of Mookambika temple they must need to fix there decorum neatly Not recommended for family AC not working:very poor quality rooms Very dirty place
