Starling river resort, Dandeli

We had a fantastic experience at the Sterling River Resort in Dandeli. The rooms were clean and neat, which made our stay very comfortable. The resort offered excellent activities for the family. Our children absolutely loved the zipline, which was an excellent experience! We also enjoyed the boat ride, which offered a very good view of the river and a thrilling moment where we even spotted a crocodile! The entire staff was very fine and attentive throughout our stay. A special mention must go to Mr. Franklin, who went out of his way to ensure we were well taken care of. We truly appreciated his commitment to guest satisfaction.

I recently had the pleasure of hosting two groups (50 and 92 members) at the Starling River Resort in Dandeli, and I must say, the ambience was truly exceptional! The resort's natural surroundings and serene atmosphere made it an ideal spot for our gatherings. Although we faced some network issues, the staff more than made up for it with their exceptional service and hospitality. A special shoutout to Uttam, who coordinated all our meals with utmost efficiency and promptness. He ensured that our dining experiences were seamless, addressing any issues that arose with the restaurants or food. Darshan was another standout member of the team. He went above and beyond to assist us with logistics, tour operations, and even hotel housekeeping, despite not being directly appointed for these tasks. His dedication and willingness to help without saying no were truly impressive. Meghraj and Suraj were fantastic in organizing coracle rides and adventure activities. Their quick response times and efficiency made our experiences even more enjoyable.

Excellent Stay, Beautiful Scenery, and Wonderful Service at Sterling River Resort, Dandeli! The approach to the resort itself was a beautiful start to our vacation. Driving in, we were greeted by picturesque, lush green surroundings, including fields of sugarcane on the left and a lovely cashew farm (Kaju farm) nearby, instantly setting a peaceful and natural atmosphere. We had a truly fantastic experience at the Sterling River Resort in Dandeli. The rooms were clean and neat, which made our stay very comfortable. Resort is decent and family friendly. The rooms are big and staff is friendly and courteous. Ample and secure parking available. The resort is on the river edge so very scenic. The food is ok, though quite expensive with buffer charges of Rs 500 per person. The Alacarte options are limited. There are various activities in the resort but one has to pay Rs 100 per person for each activity. There is a playarea for kids and also a swimming pool which can be used for free. There is no Airtel network in the rooms, There is a airtel booster added but only avaliable in the lobby. Only jio network is available throughout the resort. The approach road is through a farm and is quite narrow and can accommodate one car at a time and also in bad shape. Guests coming to the resort create a lot of noise every where. Management do not do anything for this. There was a group who played loud music in the lobby around 10pm in the night and management dint do anything and I myself had to request them to lower the volume.

We spent 2 nights 3 days in Starling River resort. Over all it was a good stay and was well within the budget Highlights: Behaviour, kindness and patience of front desk. A big shout out to Prateek, Meenakshi , Rajveer and Devaraj. Restaurant : while the breakfast was normal but the A-la-carte for dinner was very well prepared. Special mention to Franklin and Pinto who took into consideration of our special food requests with tweaks suitable to our plate Activities : The resorts best activity was speed boat. Shekhar knows the job too well and ensured every time we went for a ride he made it fun and thrilling. Beware: If you want to stay here or anyanother place near the forest it’s better to carry SIM card of BSNL or JIO. No network coverage of any other carriers and the resort does not have WiFi.

The resort is remotely located amid the lush green surroundings. It is well maintained. I loved how they have incorporated the nature with trees and roots throughout the property is really amazing 👏🏻 The food quality is good as well. The main highlight of the resort is the view by the pool and lake. The views in the evening are amazing. Although the tents are premiumly priced could have been better in terms of quality. If visiting with the friends book the tent and if with family they have good options for that seperately as well. Overall all this is a good option 👍🏻

We booked directly through Starling resort for 22 peoples and it costed 49250 which includes 3times of food and activities inside the premises but if I booked it through online like make my trip it was 39000 but it has only breakfast and no activities are included. But, due to rain they don't allowed us for activities which we paid for and they have not reduced the total amount during exit. Also, we booked all 6 AC cottages only because we have a bath tub in Cottage while staying we noticed that bath tub is not functional and they are not ready to make it functional. During stay, electricity is down from morning 4am to 6am but inverters were not turned off, I went to the reception during that hours to ask them to turn on inverters but no one available at the reception, finally my sleep got disturbed due to this. When coming to food, all 3 (lunch, breakfast and dinner) tastes are good but items are very less in buffet. No welcome drinks are provided. The place is located very deep remote place where you can't go to the main town easy since it has very narrow road.

It was a superb experience at the resort. The pool is good. We had a medical emergency at night, but the resort staff really helped a lot. Thank you to the staff for your kind hearts.
