The Coorg Gateway

We have been to the place in Jan 2021 and stayed for 2 nights. It was an exceptional stay. Perfect as it's so easy to get in and out. The staff is lovely and always smiling. I really recommend this hotel especially for families with kids. The swimming pool was very well maintained and clean, good food and the fire camp was the cherry on the cake. Special thanks to the Manager for always available for all sort of queries and support. Very proactive and timely response received from all the staff members

Visited the place after the first lockdown was lifted, Place looks good but cleanliness was just average even after the place was cleaned after we reached the spot. Some lights were not working in the bathroom. Pool wasn't open due to restrictions. Had dinner and breakfast at the place. Dinner was good and tasted just the way you expect it to be. Breakfast was complementary but just one item only. Overall a fairly good place, needs a bit of additional care. Place 8/10 Cleanliness 5/10 Food 8/10 Amenities 5/10 Cost: Moderate

Rooms were very untidy. Flush and geyser were not working. There were termite on wardrobe and walls. Zero basic amenities available. Pool safety was not in place and very limited staff. NOT recommended at all for family. Really disappointed have not got refund as well for a day cancellation.

Manager was nice and super friendly..service is good ..we arrived very early and they provided room for us to stay untill the checkin time.. Rooms and property is good but not totally maintained. Overall a good experience..

Rooms are worth the amount. No maintenance, there is no proper service, Dirty pool, there is no light inside the pool, there are no indoor games, and the A/c/tv/heater not working. Wet floor/walls & bed due to water leakage. Lol 😆. Overall 👎 👎 👎 👎 👎

The ambience of the location is not as advertised. No equipment or feature of the resorts is maintained ex. Pool is dysfunctional, washroom in-still feeling of badly maintained public toilets.

Pls, don't try to visit the place it's not worth it. The owner of the resort is way too harsh, not having minimum decency. moreover, we didn't get towels and blankets the staff are not attentive and lack of cleanliness at the resort.pls, don't waste your time.

Everything looks good from the outside but from the inside everything is terrible. Eg. In the bathroom there is no bucket, the toilet seat is broken, there is no toiletry, and when we ask for soap, a bucket, etc they don't even care. The service is terrible. The swimming pool is also very dirty and not well maintained.
