Veu Munnar Retreat

Our 7-person team from Kochi booked 3 suites here for a retreat. The staff allotted us nearby , which made it easy for us to coordinate. The dining area handled our group meals well, and the rooftop was used for both work discussions and casual evenings with beautiful sunsets. Staff was responsive and open to last-minute requests. Great for small groups or team getaways.

The property is little on the outskirts of the main town munnar like 20 -25 mins away... The road to the property is Lil not maintained so do take care while driving. The view towards the property is absolutely stunning the landscape (Gap road) also the view from the property is just like your in the sky..... The cool breeze ... The mountain 🏔️ 🪟 the moving clouds☁️ ☁️...the sunrise🌄 🌞 view....the night sky 🌝 ✨ it's just a surprise. It's like an ultimate get away location from the sound of the busy traffic to the waking up to the sounds of the chirping birds 🐦🐦🐦 my family did love it ❤️.....

I had stayed at Veu Munnar Retreat in for 3 nights and 4 days. The first thing I liked to say about this resort is that the wonderful view. The resort environment is good. We had buffet dinner for 500/- rupees per person, It's value for money. Highly recommended

It is one of the best resorts in Munnar, with all the amenities required for your stay. We had a pleasant and wonderful stay. The staff are polite and welcoming. The food is delicious. They lit a campfire for us on the rooftop terrace — views of the dark hills and stars above while we grilled chicken and listened to Malayalam old songs on a speaker provided by the kind staff. Not a luxurious vibe, but so much more personal, warm and felt like home. Also, the beds are extra comfy and I never felt like waking up, Best sleep.

The sunrise at Veu Munnar Retreat was truly beautiful. Watching the sun rise over the hills was peaceful and refreshing. The view is stunning — green valleys, misty mountains, and a calm, quiet atmosphere. A perfect way to start the day!

My wife and I came here on the 18th of this month at 10 pm. We booked through meke Trip. When we got there, they said they were overbooked and couldn't give us a room. I dont know how its become over booking, i got confirmation,then only i went there from the munnar twon above 14km. We had a hard time finding another room that night.the GM the lady is too rough in behaviour.also till now they are not refunded my money. I called the property,they not responded about my refund. I giving 0 rating. Experienced rude behaviour from the property.. Never ever recomented...

We have stayed in many places but this is the first time we have had such a bad experience. The room was okay but we had to face some problems in the room. Hot water is not available in that hotel and if you insist they will give you some water in a small bucket. The light bulb in the bathroom was not working. The closet was leaking. The room was very dirty. There was a very bad smell. The staff was very rude and condescending. The TV was not working. Someone came in the middle of the night and kept ringing the bell repeatedly. I would never recommend this hotel to my family. The hotel is located in a very dangerous place, so it is very difficult to reach there. In short, this is a hotel that does not deserve even a star. It is that bad.
