Maliekal Heritance - Resort In Cherai, Luxury Resort in Cherai, Kochi

We had a pleasant stay at Maliekal Heritance Beach & Lake Resort in Cherai. The service was great, and the ambiance of the resort, with its lovely blend of beach and lake views, was very relaxing. We stayed in a basic cottage that had surprisingly extraordinary amenities, making our stay quite comfortable. The pool overlooking the lake was a wonderful place to unwind. One disappointment was the lack of Kerala cuisine at the WAVES restaurant during breakfast, as we were hoping for some local dishes. However, we did have the unexpected treat of spotting dolphins while having breakfast, which was a memorable experience. Overall, it's a great resort with good service, even if the beach isn't the highlight.

I stayed at Maliekal Heritance with my family and everyone had a great time at the property. There was something for all age group, but the best part about the property was the location, right on Cherai Beach and then they had a beautiful lake at the back side of the property which added to the overall experience. Apart from these, having Jacuzzi in the room was a welcome addition, also the staffs took good care of us. So I would definitely recommend others to visit this property and experience its charm.

A Memorable Stay at Maliekal Heritance Our recent stay at Maliekal Heritance in Cherai was an absolute delight, particularly as we celebrated our mother's 89th birthday. The resort's serene ambiance, coupled with the exceptional service and support from the staff, made our experience truly unforgettable. The Waves restaurant was a culinary highlight. The breakfast spread was simply divine, offering a wide array of delectable options to tantalize our taste buds. The quality and variety of the food were top-notch. While the resort's Seaside Restaurant and Backwater Resort offered picturesque views, we believe that a sunset boat ride would be an ideal addition to the experience. Especially for families with elderly members and infants, a leisurely boat ride would be more comfortable and enjoyable than a pedal boat. Overall, our stay at Maliekal Heritance was a wonderful experience. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the staff members, especially those at the Waves restaurant, for their exceptional service and warm hospitality.

Went with family for a one day trip. The resort is well managed, well kept, neat and clean. The cottages were well equipped. The best part of the stay was the courteousness of the staff, the staff were extremely good, helpful and very responsive to request. Personal thanks to all the staff from Reception, House cleaning staff, restaurant staff, security, etc. Thanks to reception staff Francis for making us feel very welcome, unfortunately i don't remember other names. We had a nice peaceful time at the resort, enjoyed the activities like kayaking, paddle boat. My kids enjoyed fishing, which definitely tested their patience, kept them away from the electronics too. Overall, the stay was excellent and we have fond memories of the place.

Good location. Of all the other resorts in the are, this one's better. Has to cross the road to access a common beach just opposite. Good service and cleanliness. Restaurant beach side with good ambience and food. Ample parking space. Not a big property, bit overpriced. Common activities are limited.

This resort is a complete scam, they show 5 star level on Booking.com, but service is level of 3 star or less. Food is very less options and served cold... French fries, Roti, puri and bhature are served cold. Prices are very expensive related to service. Better to choose a hotel in city of brand. Rooms are not clean, dusty, and we experienced musquito's and cockroach walking at night in the bed. They don't let you cancel the stay, nor adjust for less days. So either lose money or stay in the bad situation. When we arrived, rooms were not accessible for elder people and smell of chemicals in the room. The resolve is a lower category room while being charged for the expensive category room. The resort doesn't have a proper taxi service, nor laundry service. When you need something from the staff you need to request multiple times in order to get things done. Furthermore they promise daily spa included on Booking.com, but when you arrive there it is no spa service included and separately chargeable.

I stayed with my family at the Maliekal cherai resort.Impeccable room with plush amenities and breath taking sea view. 360° room is commentable. Freindly staff who went above and beyond. Shiji & Francis at the front desk should be really appreciated for their kind and gentle behaviour. |Well satisfied and recommend this resort.!!!

Resort location and ambience is excellent like a 5 star but food and the whole F&B experience is pathetic. Chef puts extra sugar and makes everything sweet including chinese, like munchao soup and pepper fried Mushroom. The chef does random things and when requested to come out to talk and explain, he doesn't even do that. Worst resort food experience while the property is easily one of the best we have visited.
