Very good experiance. |Excellent view from rooms. The surroundings and the swimming pool was very well maintained and clean. Rooms are spacious and clean. The food served in the restaurant was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Beat family resort in thattekad area. Neat and clean rooms and attractive swimming pool with kids pool.Every rooms have private balcony.There is a lake view conference area for 50 to 60 members .Resort has private boat jetty boating available to thattekad bird sanctuary.

One of the worst stays we’ve ever had. We stayed at this place last week.||1) NO PRIVACY||We had booked the entire house for our family for one night stay, but we saw strangers coming in and out of the house as they wished without even asking our permission.This made us very uncomfortable. We had checked with the concerned person a 1000 times before booking if the house would be fully for us as we wanted privacy and this was made very clear to them. But, there were many strangers(males) in the premises.||2) LIVE IN CARETAKER||We were even more surprised to see a stranger who claims to be the caretaker, staying INSIDE the house with us during our stay giving us no privacy at all.||2) NO FREEDOM||In the night as we were taking photos in the foyer, the so called caretaker asked us to switch off the lights in the foyer as the lights were disrupting his sleep. Even after paying for the stay we had no freedom and had to accommodate as per the stranger’s likes.||3) HOUSE NOT CLEAN||Even though the house’s layout was good, it wasn’t maintained at all. The floor was dirty as though it wasn’t cleaned for months. The house was dirty, filled with spider webs, insects and lizards. Not clean at all. And the caretaker was not at all bothered about taking care of the house.||4) LOW LIT POOL||The pool did not have enough lights which is a safety hazard. It was too dark and there were no changing rooms.||5) TOWELS||There weren’t enough towels in the rooms. Only one towel was provided per room which accomodates 2 people.||6) BREAKFAST||They had provided breakfast (appam and egg curry) but it wasn’t good.||7) SNACKS||What we liked was the afternoon Tea and Snacks we had ordered from them.

Having stayed here many times, I can recommend this resort for location and quietness. The rooms are very reasonably priced, large and homely. The bathrooms are always clean, with fresh towels and toiletries.
