THE TRAVANCORE PALACE

We visited their restaurant for lunch on 18th Aug 2024 around 1.30 pm. The look and surrounding of this place gave a 4 star property vibe. After waiting for 10 mins, a person came to take the order and we asked for 2 fish curry meals. Next 45 mins no update on food and we asked another waiter to check on our food. He said meals are no more in stock. You may go for biriani. Meantime it was around 2.30. We were upset but then they gave us 2 meals. Too many curry bowls were in the thali but portion was too little. No refil of curries and charged Rs 200 for 1 meal. Curries were tasteless. Complete money waste. Washroom was out of service and send me to their lounge area. Toilet condition was pathetic. Even public toilets will be better than this. Do not go here seeing their outer appearance. Service is pathetic!!!

We were there for a week and it was just wonderful! The vegetarian food was excellent. The rooms in the garden cottages very are clean and the stuff super nice. One thing was enoying: in the morning at 5:30 the prayers near the beach start with extrem loud speakers- Would be nice if the hotel management could talk to them to be a bit less loud?! All in all a nice place!

Absolutely adore this place! Such beauty is engraved in here! You can literally spend hours looking at the carvings and the adept artistic skill! Of course, we didn't stay there, so I don't know about the food, rooms and service, but if you were to host a show or a function, you've made the right choice.

Most pathetic service in restaurant.No one will come to take order you have to call tjem again amd agaim.Service is very slow.They wont provide basic cutlery even after aaking.Waiters dont know what they bring at table.They are very slow.Most pathetic service

Its a building type hotel near to Sagara beach resorts. We dont have any beach views. Limited food options. Clean AC Rooms is the advantage. Helpful Staff. People coming in big vehicles as group tour- need to walk .

Very good hotel and rooms. Very good view from the balcony . We can find out two problems 1. Old fashioned tv and 2. Lift was not available this two problems are in the hotel but we can ignore them and this the hotel is good and view of nature is too good people should stay here

Read Before Book ( Not for Indians ) It's a Ayurvedic massage Resort and purely commercial for foreigners Rooms : Rooms are big but no sea View , Hot water not available for us Food : Food Cost is very high , Room service charges are 30 % More then restaurant Massage: We had to pay 2300 for a General Body massage but it's Good Swimming pool: It's Good Staff : Not Trained staff , They Hired trainees, They pay less to staff and take high amount for the services Ambience: Out side view is very Good The reception to the room is very Far , you have to walk more so be prepared if you're going with old people Actually Foreigner Comes here for Massages and stay for long hence hotels guys don't give proper response for Indians so it's better not to sell Indians Cost : Very High , Not Worthy

A little bit far from the beach.but super spacious rooms with sea view balcony and pool and a awesome view from the rooftop is the main attractions of this hotel. An overhaul would be great
