Top Deck Resort Review Our group of 17 bachelors visited Top Deck Resort on a Saturday evening in November, arriving just as night was falling. The journey to the resort added to the adventure: the road leading up is narrow, with just enough width for a traveler van. It heightened the sense of remoteness and exclusivity, setting the scene for a peaceful weekend retreat. The resort’s location is spectacular, perched on top of a small hill and surrounded by quiet, serene nature. This gives the place an almost untouched feel, far removed from the usual hustle and bustle. The setup includes two cottages – one at the top of the hill, where the swimming pool is, and another about 50 meters below. The top cottage, with its pool, became the focal point of our stay, and its slightly elevated position added an extra layer of privacy. The rooms in the cottages were adequate, though there’s definitely room for improvement. The bathrooms, in particular, were not up to the mark; they lacked certain amenities, and the bathroom don't have hot water facility– even the bathroom shower itself wasn’t working, which was a bit of a letdown. However, given the mild November temperatures, we managed to adjust with cold water, though hot water would certainly have added comfort. The swimming pool was clean, of average size, and well-maintained. However, it would have been even better if they had installed some lighting for the evening hours, as it would add both visibility and ambiance. The shower near the pool also needed repairs, which we hope the resort addresses soon. One highlight of the stay was the campfire experience. The resort provided ample space around the fire, along with plenty of seating so we could move around comfortably. They even had a grill setup for us, which made it easy to prepare grilled chicken and other treats. The vibe around the campfire was really something special – it’s a great spot for groups to relax, socialize, and enjoy the cool hilltop night. The kitchen facility was a big plus, as we could cook our own food, which added a personal touch to the experience. The resort does offer to prepare meals if notified in advance, and the staff were highly accommodating. We cooked several meals ourselves, and the staff was always on hand to help us with anything we needed, from utensils to ingredients. Overall, the staff was fantastic – gentle, kind, and always cooperative, making sure our stay was as smooth and enjoyable as possible. They were very friendly and willing to assist at every turn, whether we needed help with cooking or arranging extra supplies. In terms of budget, Top Deck Resort is great value for the peaceful and relaxing experience it provides. Despite a few minor maintenance issues, we had a wonderful stay. It’s a place we’d definitely recommend for groups looking for a budget-friendly, tranquil hilltop retreat.

Top Deck is a very nice farm house situated near Kuttikanam. It's a two cottage property which can accomodate up to 10 to 14 people. Got three bed rooms, kitchen, living/dining and a small pool. The location is very peaceful and is perfect for a small group. As you occupy the entire farm house, it will offer you a full private property. The care taker is a very nice guy who will take proper care of guests. The kitchen can be utilised for small cooking if you prefer or the food can be arranged by the resort on extra cost. Earlier the entrance was through the tea factory premise situated between Valanjanganam water falls and Kuttikanam. But now that road is no longer accessible and need to take a slight off road route near Kuttikanam junction. There are some view points and trekking spots near the property which is an add on benefit.

Great place for get togethers, bachelor party etc.. They have 3 rooms which can accommodate around 10 people. Rooms are spacious but of old looks. Don't expect luxury. Best place for spending a day with friends and family. They will arrange food on extra payment if required. Pool with great scenic view is a highlight.

Topdeck resort is a farm house in peerimedu in Idukki district. It have two cottages in this property. Its a nice option to spend the week ends. The hill view frontage is an mind blowing viewing experience. It have a small swimming pool in front of cottage. Friendly atmosphere and staffs are here. This is the hidden place inside the forest. If you are a team then its a must try experience 😉 👌

We went there during the month of September and it was super cold out there. We weren't able to enjoy the pool due to the cold climate. Other than the climate, the place was super nice. Two rooms with attached bathroom all to ourself. They will prepare the breakfast and it was delicious. One thing to make sure during the trip is to wear proper dress to prevent leach bites. Yes, there are blood sucking leaches on the ground.

Wonderful beautiful place! Beside being in a beautiful and secluded location, the area provides complete privacy and a pool. There are two cottages- one with 2 bedroom and a hall and another with one bedroom, hall and kitchen. There is a lot of space in between. The caretaker Joychan is one of the best caretakers I have ever known. He cleans the pool regularly, gives us tea and hot water and is all round very helpful. Reduced a star because the geyser was not working.

If you are looking to work from the mountains, this is the ideal set up. They have high speed WiFi, completely isolated beautiful location, supportive and friendly caretaker. Food is available on order and the caretaker can arrange for it. Extremely peaceful location to focus and work as well as enjoy and have a great time. There are two cottages and it has to be booked together which gives you 100% privacy. Good location to work with your friends and also chill out. An evening dip in the pool after work was just perfect. The caretaker can also guide you on routes for a morning hike or evening walk. The weather is cool and the atmosphere is calm. I highly recommend this location to work from /or to just relax.

Calm place, misty atmosphere throughout. Pool is also good. Except for leeches, everything else was good. The caretakers are also really nice. There is also a separate kitchen where you can cook.
