Stayed here for a night. Had booked in rock n mist but since there was a group booking we were asked to check in at winter garden when we were nearing the stay. The property was neatly maintained and the location was beautiful. The owner was ok to extend the check out time by 1-2 hours as we had planned to trek in the morning. There was no hot water in the morning but was arranged on asking. Rock n mist is very near to the the starting point of the trek but this is around 1.5 kms away.

A lovely hotel, set in a beautiful location and stunning eco friendly environment with beautiful Mountain View. The setting is very relaxing. All the hotel staffs are very attentive and friendly. The restaurant food is delicious. We found our bed to be very comfortable and our rooms were very spacious, with everything we needed. We would happily visit again. Thankyou Winter Garden...

Staying at Winter Garden Resort in Munnar was an absolute delight! From the warm hospitality to the stunning views of the surrounding lush greenery, every moment felt like a rejuvenating escape. We booked a what they call 'Villa'. Its a 3 BHK unit within the hotel. Rooms: The rooms appeared to have been locked for a while and recently only cleaned/opened. The rooms had that kinda smell. The beds were good Kitchen was okay There is a balcony sort of dining space that is open, thats good too. Bathrooms were Bad. Hot water is not available at all times. The tap didn't work for one of the bathrooms. Another bathroom was tiny and not thoroughly cleaned, dimly lit. Service and location: Both top notch. Especially the location. It was misty at night. You can catch sunrise from here with the clouds beneath you. :) The road leading to the hotel is quite steep so take care.
